Very tasty chicken rice, both chicken breast or chicken thighs (a little more expensive than regular chicken rice with chicken breast) tasted great!! The chicken is so tender and me and my friend both prefer the soy sauce dipping more.
We visit at non-rush hour so the restaurant is pretty empty. Enjoy! 😊
Food is delicious. Ordered chicken rice for 3-4 pax and onion omelette. It was very filling. Chicken was flavourful and rice was fragrant. The place can get very crowded during dinner time on weekends so the staff do get very busy! Great experience nevertheless!
Superb food, really love the sweet n sour pork with lychee, and the heng hwa beehoon. Lor mee was tasty, Hong zhao ji portion was huge. Free kids porridge with cherry tomatoes and braised tofu, staff even asked whether we wanted more of the braised tofu. Great attentive service, ambience was great too. We'll definitely be back.
Had dinner with family here. Very family friendly. Served our 3yo free food, quick consisted of porridge, cherry tomatoes and tofu, which was nice. Food is not bad, but I'm not a big fan of Taiwanese food in general. Still, it was pretty good. Service was generally very good. There's a SAFRA promo where you get $6 off $60 spend. There's also a Grab promo of 8-10% off depending on whether it's weekday or weekend. I choose the SAFRA promo, and my total came up to $61 after discount.
After 7-years carrying a Michelin star for its Kitchener Road outlet, PUTIEN lost their star. Food remains decent and recommended for its Hokkien dishes. The VivoCity outlet has great waterfront views overlooking Sentosa.
We love the shredded pork in sesame bun, crispy fried oyster, deep fried squirrel fish and the sweet & sour pork; and we do not believe the restaurant deserves any Michelin star.
Founded in 2000 in Singapore by Fong Chi Chung, starting as a small coffee shop on Kitchener Road. In 2016, Putien’s Kitchener Road flagship was awarded 1 Michelin star, becoming the first Fujian-style restaurant in the world to receive that honor.
Fong arrived in Singapore in the 1990s and missed the flavors of his hometown, Putian (莆田). This inspired him to open a small restaurant serving home-style Heng Hwa (Putianese) dishes using traditional recipes and imported ingredients.
My go to restaurant every time Im at Vivo. The food superb as always, service was good. You can eat and enjoy the harbor view if you sit inside. My forever favorite is sweet sour pork, and their meesua. Love it!!
gst & service charge waived is a good start. Use your Grab app to enjoy 20\% off the ala carte menu. Food was tasty and the in-house chilli 🌶️ is a great condiment.
Top notch and impeccable service by Sheau Shin. She made our day and went the extra mile to help celebrate our aunt birthday. A big thumbs up for her and thank you!
Went there for a team lunch and service was fast and polite.
The food was tasty and we didn't have to wait long between dishes.
We had the set lunch meal and though it was nothing special, they also didn't spoil the taste of common dishes like sweet and sour pork. The "sausage" yam was pretty interesting since it did look like little sausages.
As for desserts, take the herbal jelly with fruits, it is the tastier item compared to the white fungus.
