New soup: chicken with mushroon and carrot. Very tasty but not salty.. Healthy choice
2022-11-30.
I have healthy lunches at least 3 time a week at this outlet... my weekday kitchen. Their flat white is the best when comparing to other Cedele outlets. I genuinely believe that they make / prepare the coffee, sandwiches, and salad with love. Coffe beats Starbucks and Marche.
2021.
Tables are far apart offering comfortable and safe ambiance. I love the many choices of Sandwiches, Wraps/Thins and Sour dough bagel and the make your own salad. Organic flat white and the healing garden tea are our favorite. A great place to enjoy healthy good... sandwich and salad and soup.
Carrot cake wasn’t as good as how I remembered it to be, the cream had more of a dairy taste than I would’ve liked. Smoked salmon sandwich was good and makes for a light lunch. Their drinks however, were really bad. I got a chai latte and the spice was so pungent and didn’t mix well with the milk at all. Super disappointing.
The Vivo outlet was also very crowded on a Sunday afternoon despite being located at the corner of the mall.
I've eaten here / ordered takeaway a number of times. They tend to be less crowded than most other eateries in Vivo so it's more conducive for conversation.
Cedele is good for a quick meal. The food is very average but ok at this price point (10 to 15 ++). Though I find the drinks pricey for the size.
I like their beetroot avocado burger (without mayo). The rosemary chicken is pretty good as well.
Food quite decent in their taste. Ordered the pesto chicken thin wrap and sea salt cheese cake.
Chicken very dry cos is breast meat. Could be more tender will be good. Environment a nice cafe to relax and have a cup of latte.
Generally decent bibimbab quick fix. But just don’t order their sides. It’s pretty bad. Their $1 fried egg is actually just microwave egg. We had a bad experience not just because it’s not fried at all but the egg exploded on us creating a mess out of it. We ordered their $3.50 steamed egg and of course it is just a messy looking microwaved egg mix. And the amount is simply pathetic. Probably run by a bunch of inexperienced young cooking staff behind.
Worst spicy tofu soup ever tasted. Ingredients fished out: 1 egg, 1/2box tofu, 2 clams, 2 tiny prawns. for $9.90. Well, I would rather pay a few dollars more for some enoki mushrooms and veg with decent sized prawns. Soup was very salty too. Waste of my time eating. The place was relatively empty during lunch hours and now I know why. Waited more than 10 min for my food even thou I am the only one waiting. 👎🏻
Haven’t dined here in a long while. Food used to be so much better. This visit I found a large piece of eggshell in the tofu soup 😣. Soup was also tasteless with only 3 small pieces of tofu. Fried shrimp was super oily and tteokbokki was underwhelming. Seriously even the instant/frozen tteokbokki I buy from the supermarket tasted better.
This is a self service eatery. You can scan the QR code to order and pay by credit card. Alternatively you can order at the cashier but pay by nets or grab pay but no paywave. The glass noodle is nice. However the bibimbak is normal. Maybe because it is not my favourite kind of dish. It is very filling. The iced coffee is very sweet. If you order the Korean lemon tea, you might want to request for less or no syrup. Stir it well as the syrup stays at the bottom. Overall it is fine. Simple shop decor just to eat and go. Not a very good place to dine and sit for long periods as it is small and cramp and some seats can be too close to other customers 😊
Can bibimbap be served at room temperature? I’m not sure, but I definitely don’t like it that way because it gets cold quickly in an air-conditioned environment. That’s exactly what happened when I had it here. I believe the rice and meat should at least be served hot.
The portions were small, the appetizer and soup that came with the value meal were pathetic, as you can see from the pictures.
Additionally, the bibimbap sauce is located at the counter, but there are no containers or small bowls provided for us to take some. I find it inconvenient that we had to take our bowls back to the counter repeatedly just to get more sauce to mix with the rice.
After spending close to $30 for 2 pax, we were still hungry, so we went next door to get some 4 Fingers! LOL
