Paiks Bibim @ Vivo City serves self order korean staples.
Taste is quite acceptable and price is ok. Thought food portion can be more. Still hungry after eating.
Spicy tofu soup looks diluted at first but packs lots of flavor. Lack of ingredients though.
Seating area is uncomfortable and makes you finish your food quickly.
Okay to try.
Had been dining in continuously for 2 times within a week. Nice staff to inform on how to order. And helped me to pack for the unfinished dish.
And also freeflow of yummy chilli paste. Had my first time to try was at Suntec City's outlet 😋
Spicy pork bibimbap:
Portion wise, even though the bowl is quite big, but for those with big appetite, this portion will be just nice. For me, this is very fulfilling.
Taste wise, the spicy level is not that spicy. But it's tasty, veggies are crunchy and fresh.
The set meal comes with fried chicken, soup and choice of drink $13.
The fried chicken is very savory and still crunchy, so it's a good match with the bibimbap.
The soup, however it's almost like a plain warm water to me. 😂
we decided to try this Korean restaurant! the staff were nice and friendly, and the servings were HUGE! we had the teriyaki chicken bowl, which unfortunately did not have a lot of chicken. on the positive side, they gave a large amount of fresh lettuce with a drizzle of kewpie mayonnaise, and added some krispy treats on the side to give the meal a perfect texture! the kimchi on the side was fresh as well, and the soup was delish. the side of fried chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy too. we would definitely come back to try more food!
Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap
Red Hot Chilli Chicken over Rice
🍜 Food wise: There's more types of meat choices than the usual standard bibimbap. Alot more vegetables than rice! And best of all, alot more meat than rice! Those soft, chewy and sweet bulgogi, indeed the star of the dish. It felt like the rice is the side dish now, interesting! Finally, spam that Gochujang, the dish tastes much better.
The red hot chilli chicken, well maybe just not for me. It was less spicer than expected and was a little dry. But maybe cause beef is there so chicken just lose out. The dish overall looks quite sad. The taste was much better when spammed with Gochujang sauce though!
But one thing that one felt that it's missing something, the usual side dishes that restaurants will give, bean sprouts, kimchi and preserved vegetables maybe. Will definitely be rated better if they do.
✨ Ambience wise: Great!
🤵🏻 Service wise: Good!
💵 Price wise:
$9.50 for beef and $8.50 for the chilli chicken.
I didn't like it seriously. Think we are really paying more for the "healthy" meal when a food court bibimbap tastes better and cheaper. I didn't like the use of cabbage which has a very raw taste lingering throughout the meal. Its not really considered healthy because the rice bowl will be plain tasteless without the gojujang. Ordered the seafood bowl and the seafood was really pathetic.
Luckily I ordered the fried chicken, the portion was quite small but maybe it was the saving grace for the meal.
food is 7/10 but service is 10/10. not sure who is the nice guy working at the counter who served me around 11.30am but he's very friendly and willing to help. good job!
The bibimbap is a huge bowl. Really worth the money especially when you order their set meal. We also had cold noodles which was also as good! For the place, I think there are limited seats. Staff not very accommodating.
🩷 DAISO & THREEPPY ( 🟧 Vivocity)
1 HarbourFront Walk,

🔵 Visited the DAISO & THREEPPY store at VivoCity today and was impressed with the overall layout and shopping experience.
🔵 The store is spacious and brightly-lit, with shelves neatly arranged and clearly categorised, making it easy to navigate and find what you’re looking for. ✔️ From kitchenware to stationery, household items to snacks, the variety of items available is extensive —especially if you enjoy discovering unique, functional, and aesthetic Japanese products at very affordable prices.
🔵 What stood out to me was the excellent organisation: everything felt orderly despite the huge volume of products. The merchandise is constantly updated with seasonal themes and trends, which adds to the fun of browsing.

🟧 THREEPPY, located within the same space, offers slightly more premium items, and the displays there are particularly well-curated. 🟧 The visual merchandising for Threeppy is very appealing— great for those looking for home decor, gifts, or higher-quality lifestyle goods.

🟣 The store features self-payment digital kiosks, which made the checkout process smooth and efficient. It’s a great touch for reducing waiting times, and staff are always nearby to assist if needed.
🟣 Overall, I feel that Daiso & Threeppy stores are clean and well-stocked with a distinctly Japanese feel. ✅️ Definitely worth a visit whether you're shopping for essentials or just exploring. 🔶️ For people on a tight budget, Daiso would be a great shop.
