Love their breads! A bit pricy so I normally dun buy a lot… The 3 for $2.60 kind of promo is similar to 4 leafs but honestly not enough to fill my hungry stomach… Taste is good so I will buy some once a while…

I would like to share some feedback about an experience I had at your VivoCity branch. While we were selecting bread, my daughter briefly opened one of the bread covers as she already decided which bread to buy. She was simply waiting for me to walk over to assist her, and she did not touch any of the bread. I was less than five seconds away from her. However, one of your young female staff walked over and spoke to my daughter loudly, telling her not to open the cover. The tone used was quite harsh. But as customers, we do need to open the covers and purchase the bread. It is a normal part of the buying process.

Service is disappointing. The cashier staff handles bread super unwillingly like the bread offended her, and I got the choc belgian waffle, so the top of my carrier just got covered with chocolatey prints. (I can only hope they came from the bread and not somewhere else) 🙂 And she proceeds to throw my receipts unceremoniously at me. Didn't manage to close my fingers around them, so of course they fell to the floor. Good luck surviving beside Gokoku 🙂

We visited Yamazaki bakery at VivoCity last weekend and were impressed by the variety and quality of their baked products. They have a wide range of breads, cakes, pastries, and confectioneries that are fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The bakery is located at the basement level of VivoCity somewhere between the supermarket and food court. It is easy to find and I would definitely recommend Yamazaki bakery to anyone who loves Japanese-style bakery products. They have something for everyone, whether you prefer sweet or savory, soft or crunchy, simple or fancy.

I used to be quite concerned about the low star reviews, because everyone was talking about some grumpy old auntie, and today I finally got what the reviews meant. I said I would pay w paywave, and I was patiently waiting for her to key into the machine. I think she said under her breath to tap, even while she was using the machine. At that point in time I chose to wait because if I tapped while she was fiddling with it there could be payment issues… Then when I didn’t tap immediately, she raised her voice and say TAP!! and then rolled her eyes, shook her head and said aiyo in an exasperated tone. Truly, all I wanted to do was buy my bread. When it’s my turn to grow old, I aim to never become someone as bitter and impatient as her.

Terrible and horrible service. The staff squeezed all 5 pieces of bread into one plastic bag, I will never patronise this shop anymore. I was not aware that it is also owned by Four leaves, I would not buy if I knew earlier. I only realised when I was making payment at the cashier counter.

Yuzu bread is delicious. But when asking for some help or question, it is almost like asking from thin air. Grab and go.

Bread is always good but there is one elderly lady - short hair with specs who is always in bad mood. She placed savory and sweet bread together and when we requested to place them separately, she threw the bread out from the plastic and was so rough. She was grumbling. Not a pleasant experience. Will not patronize again.

Always buy in the morning! Fresh bake and good taste. Recommend pork jerky & floss bun. Auntie’s service today still is in a standard like usually does. Cake price is reasonable.

I bought their small Cocoa Fudge cake at the display for $33 today around late-6/7pm at the VivoCity branch for a birthday celebration. The moment we bite into it, everyone spit it out because it was sooo stale and dry as if it has been placed there for one week. It was inedible to say the least. Tried to find an email to send in but website is not friendly. I would very much want to seek a refund.
