The food is good and the service is even more excellent. The soup is worth for more than 3 person but for some one like us who cannot take spicy, you really need to prepare a lot of drinks. Though spicy, it is really delicious.
So glad they opened in Vivo! Usually order form Grab because there were always queues outside their other outlets.
Clean space and good food. Came on a weekday lunch and the food delivery was speedy. Ordered the well-known stir fried pork, braised luffa and pigs ear.
Recommend!
Food was lovely, service prompt and friendly. Dishes can be a tad too oily for for local palates but to reduce the amount of oil to suit local palates would make the dishes shine less, both literally and figuratively.
Odd though, they say do a Google review, and they'll give you a drink, but after completing mine, I was told only if you give 5 stars... That bit irks me no end. Reviews should be genuine and as such, I've edited mine to reflect this faux pas on an otherwise prompt and efficient service.
This food originating from the Hunan province has a very delicious taste and is not extremely pricey. They also have their own rice. Service is prompt and polite
The Japanese food here is decent but feels more like food court quality with restaurant-level pricing. Service was a bit slow during my visit.
Some dishes could be improved — for example, the chicken in the Donburi tasted like it had been previously frozen and the rice wasn’t cooked well. The yakitori chicken was better in comparison, though. Miso soup was quite bland.
The dining space is a little cramped with narrow spacing between tables. I am not coming back to dine here.
I had high hopes for Tori Sanwa, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The only consistently enjoyable items were the egg and rice—simple, but well done.
The chicken was tender, but I couldn't shake the suspicion that it might have been slightly undercooked, which made it difficult to enjoy fully. The grilled fish lacked the crispiness I was expecting and felt under-fried, leaving the texture a bit off. As for the pork, it was dry and tough, almost as if it had been reheated multiple times.
While the presentation was nice, I hope the kitchen takes a closer look at preparation and consistency. There's potential here, but more care is definitely needed in execution.
I always love a good oyakodon and its very difficult to find good ones. Saw that its specialty was oyakodon, decided to try it out instead of going back to my usual tried and tested oyakodon place.
Ordered the aburi oyakodon set, comes with miso soup. tiniest chawanmushi and pickle.
The oyakodon portion is just nice for small eater ie the chicken portion is very little with alot of rice. The chicken even after aburi and salty seasoning, cannot masked the strong frozen chicken taste.
Chawanmushi seems to be made with half soy sauce and half egg as it was salty to the max, so yes that tiniest portion is sufficient for your 3 day salt intake.
Service was almost non existent after they place the food on your table.
The only salvaging points was the 1 for 1 Asahi beer that came in very very cold and nice frozen mug otherwise I would have given them 1 star.
Will not be back again as its not to my liking and for the pricing, its better to take your chances at a generic food court or hawker japanese bowl.
This place is more for tourists who do not wish to queue during the mad lunch hour for other restaurants.
Very delicious karaage chicken which is hot, crispy and moist.
It comes with Japanese style sliced cabbage which also tasted fresh and nice.
Good value for money.
Self order with QR code.
Spacious and comfortable seating.
Serving traditional taste of Don and Hamburg. Hamburg so juicy, yet not bloody and superb taste. Addictive! Serving in traditional way with hotplate, cord and fries. Rice and miso soup all come with the meal. A must try if you love Osaka simple meal. いただきます 😇
