Self order place. The service is good though you collect on own for food. Because I see the staff help customers to look for seats.
Food wise very yummy. The ramen soup a little too sweet, best to reduce the sweetness.
Overall, very yummy!
Food was underwhelming at best.
Bara chirashi don / Salmon oyako tartar don - just average. I had Diarrhea runs later that night.
Hokkaido butter corn chasyu Ramen- kids didn't liked it. Tried it myself and concluded the same. Eggs/chasyu was ok, but there was a distinct taste from the noodles, not too sure if it was alkaline or something else.
Torikage was average but kani salad that came with the set turns out to be the best among everything else. Lol
The only food I liked here is the dry noodles which I never take photo. The rest is just average stuff. Service is some how lacking and I felt like their salary is not sufficient and that explains it.
Environment is hot in a shopping mall. Did they pay enough to the mall management?
Self service style restaurant. You enter your own order, collect at the counter when the buzzer rings and then return the tray after eating. Staff was friendly. Food quality was average. Rice was hard and edamame was not as displayed on menu pictures.
Self service type of Jaoanese restaurant. Food is ready pretty fast. Taste is acceptable. Ordering machine not efficient and have problem. Overall just an ok experience. Price is slightly cheaper than usual Japanese restaurant.
I had to takeaway in a rush and the staff was very kind to help me out with the self service kiosk; as I didn't know I had to scan the buzzer first before paying.
The salmon don is really nice and flavourful! My son and I totally enjoyed it. It tastes even better with mayonnaise :)
The exterior of the restaurant looks very inviting. Order from the self help kiosks outside the restaurant and get a buzzer number. When the food is ready the buzzer will buzz. The server at the counter asked that I clear the table and bring the plate to a clearing cabinet. Food wise, it’s not anything special nor spectacular. The portion is small for the price but just right for me.
Tasty Japanese food. The rice bowls add more flavours and sauces than traditional Japanese food. Makes it very tasty (also a little heavier in mouth feel and on the stomach). Fried chicken was great. Nice and crunchy with the ginger soy flavour coming through.
Nice decor and self service was easy and smooth
Got the white curry rice with karaage.
The karaage was fried to oblivion, but they must have marinated it well cus after biting through the hard crust, the tough meat still tasted a lil juicy and savoury.
They didn't give enough white curry. Felt like I finished my portion within five spoonfuls. The carrots weren't tender (and were cut into oblongs, which isn't great for cooking fast eh), and I had like 3 sticks of asparagus - which isn't even a full asparagus. Because there wasn't enough curry, it was kinda difficult for me to taste it well, but it was more like a creamy japanese curry?
Staff wise, service was average, they didn't really talk to you. But there wasn't really any room behind the counter - single lane, with three guys already moving there, so this one lady had to keep standing either beside my table, or even at the shop front. Don't think they can really do anything about that though.
Try something else on the menu?
okay decent place and pretty Value-for-money place if you are looking for bara chirashi dons. Spent 20 averagely for a set meal which includes main with salad and green tea.
Sashimi cubes are okay fresh, no-fishy smell but the rice is somewhat lacking in vinegar taste, all stuck together and almost like satay-rice (ketupat)
i was with a friend who told me the rice is not normally like this so i guess its a one-off thing.
Staff is friendly and ready to help u find a seat. its a self-service place so order at the kiosk, wait for your order no. to be called, pick up your meal and enjoy. condiment available when you pick up your meal, ranging from wasabi, soysauce to chilli flakes etc
