Newly opened after a long renovation period. Not all shops opened yet but looks promising. Still hot and humid as ever. About the only unpleasant thing about this mall and country for that matter is the unbearable heat and humidity of the weather. Makes even the nicest, most beautifully designed outdoor location just feel so unpleasant. But if the heat doesn't bother you, definitely worth a visit.
Date of visit: 17 August (Sunday)
Not super crowded, majority of the shops are seemingly still closed- either for private events or under construction. However, you can see the potential of Weave as a shopping destination as many name brands will be there.
Air ventilation and temperature of the place could be much better/cooler with addition of fans around the mall.
Weave is connected to the Casino entrance, right opposite Universal Studios and beside Oceanarium.
Accessible by walking, bus and monorail.
Nice wide area with numerous food outlets- lots of different cuisines, fast food included. Thereās sufficient range of outlets to cater for all budgets. Usual chain outlets are here - MacDonaldās, Texas Chicken, Din Tai Fung, BreadTalk etc etc. The area is also occasionally used for large cultural events which gives it a special ambience. Nice place for a stroll just outside the Casino area š
Overly promoted when nothing much is open yet. Maybe better to come back towards end of the year. Weave mall is poorly ventilated. Close to becoming an over in the afternoon heat.
As a passionate LEGO enthusiast, I visited the largest LEGO certified store in Singapore upon a friendās recommendation.
The wide variety of sets inside definitely did not disappoint me. The store carries many popular collections, and right at the entrance, I was greeted by impressive LEGO-built displays of famous Singapore landmarks. Seeing the local sights recreated with bricks was so captivating that I couldnāt help but stop and admire them for a long time.
What impressed me the most, however, was the friendliness of the staff. I originally wanted to buy a LEGO Gashapon machine set thatās completely unavailable in Taiwan and Vietnam. When I asked, the staff told me it had just sold out at this store. Noticing my disappointment, she kindly went the extra mile and called other branches to help me check. Thanks to his effort, I was able to get the set after all!
Lego company always have innovative ways to attract kids and even adult. This store has some creative and newly produced Lego toys such as localised products with Merlion in Lego version, personalised human face, Singapore's famous places, mini versions of people around the world and more. This store is so amazing and my daughter love it, it's only a bit pricey only for their toys but of course if you can afford it why not.
The LEGO Store outside Universal Studios Singapore is a vibrant, family-friendly destination. It offers a wide selection of LEGO sets, from iconic themes to exclusive items. The storeās interactive displays make it a fun stop, whether you're shopping for sets or simply exploring creative displays. A must-visit for fans.
I myself got a "Spiderman" Lego as a Token of Memory... Even if you are Not a Lego fan, you can just visit the Place just for seeing the Wide varity of Collections of Lego... Truly a fun place... specially for Kids...
Superb staff service from Bricksworld as always! They take great interest and pride in engaging with their customers and helped me take a few nice pics of my minifigs too š Will definitely visit this store again! ā¦
Worth checking out if your in the area. Pick a brick, build a mini fig and Friendly staff. Also a massive lego city which was pretty cool, also had a number off mini figs to find.
Will be back next time in Sentosa
