i think its better if you're going with family or group of friends, so you can try out many foods. i ordered pizza, it was lovely, but tasteless. i loved the bread texture, but too many tomatoes and the taste is like you have a a bread with sweet soy sauce. lol.
the good thing; there's quite many options.
A lively, European market-style experience with enticing cooking aromas and vibrant fruit/veggie displays at the entrance. Rosti shines—crispy, golden shredded potatos, paired with cool sour cream. Some decent but not excellent dishes, the pork knuckle was unevenly dry and chicken mushroom crepe (had a rough cabbage filler) unlike the creamy savoury crepe I recalled from previous visits. Prices are steep (mains ~$20+), but the immersive vibe—open kitchens, swiss chalet-inspired decor—justifies a visit. Best for families or groups craving atmosphere over flawless food. Stick to Swiss classics.
The rosti is no longer tasty. The price is much higher than I remembered. Probably would be acceptable if the food is still good. Rosti undercooked and they seem to have changed the type of potatoes as well. It tastes distinctly different from how it was before. Juice watered down. Overall a disappointing meal.
It’s. Mandatory stop over for meal at this amazing place every time we visit Singapore and it’s family favourite. We being vegetarian are always advised to be careful and selective, but this place serves amazing food.
In past we even have tried Swiss crepe and pasta too.
Over the past few years, I have dined at this restaurant multiple times. Regrettably, the prices have risen substantially. This increase would have been justifiable if the quality, service, serving size, and taste had not been compromised, but unfortunately, they were.
While most ingredients remain fresh, the flavours of the dishes are hit-or-miss, with some being acceptable and others not, based on my repeated visits.
Service is non consistent, too. Some staff are approachable, and some are not.
In my opinion, the levels of saltiness and sweetness are lower than what Singaporeans typically prefer. Nevertheless, if you are seeking a healthier option, this could be a viable choice.
The prices are high, and the serving sizes are small for most dishes. Although some set lunches offer better value, if you intend to order regular dishes, be prepared to spend approximately $35 per person for a meal and a drink.
Overall, it is still acceptable to try if you feel like eating something other than Asian cuisine.
I recently visited Marche Vivo outlet and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience that I’d like to share (standard has declined drastically). I ordered the rosti lunch set, which included a side of grapes (supposedly the snack) that were of poor quality—cheaply selected and far from fresh.
Additionally, I purchased the bread and butter pudding was not up to standard, with a jelly-like texture that didn’t align with the traditional European style I expected.
Beyond the food, I noticed the restaurant was dusty and did not meet basic cleanliness standards, which was concerning.
I reached out via email to address these issues, but received only a generic response that failed to acknowledge or resolve my concerns.
This was my first visit this year and we were astonished on the overall dining experience.
We started with the juices; red grape lemonade and lemongrass carrot. Unfortunately, both were extremely diluted and lacked flavour. It honestly felt like they had been watered down.
For the main dishes, we ordered a stir-fried mixed vegetable plate that was oddly bland — it seemed like the garlic and salt were completely missed. It was disappointing. As for the seafood paella, the seafood itself was decent, but the rice portion was small and underwhelming.
We’re happy to pay premium prices, but the quality really needs more attention. Service-wise, it was a mixed experience — it depends a lot on who you get, so it’s a bit of a gamble.
Would we come back ever again? Nah …..
Had the lunch set with salmon and roasted potatoes. Staff asked if I wanted mushrooms and I said ok but turned out to be additional $8.90!! omg and it was quite salty. Definitely not worth it. It was just a small bowl. I wish they would tell me “additional mushrooms for (price)?” instead of just phrasing it like that.
Just get the salmon and roasted potatoes. This is a public service announcement!! you’re welcome
We just held our son’s birthday party at TimeZone VivoCity and we are truly amazed by our party host, Jo’s enthusiasm and vitality. She ensures everything goes smoothly while taking care of the kids. It was definitely a great experience and most importantly the kids had lots of fun! Thank you Jo!
A good team bonding experience. Jo is an attentive party host. She does her best to ensure all of us are fully engaged and encouraged us to try out all the different machines that Timezone has.
Jo went the extra miles to resolve any problems that we faced with the machines, including clearing the basketballs which were stuck. She also helped us to capture the precious moments while we played the games.
Thanks Jo for the great facilitation 👍
