Peranakan style cafe. Was there for their lunch buffet. Lots of spices used in their dishes. Nice place to have a quick lunch and immerse in the air condition. Handwash basin is at the corner of the cafe.
Toliet opposite cafe, note ladies it takes quite a walk without sheltered walkway.
One of my fav place to makan at Sentosa. Their staff as always very attentive (Sheila & Satia). The new menu is delicious, Nasi Lemak Goreng till I forgot to snap a pic. All time fav is laksa and Ayam Penyet. Thank U gold old days, delicious and affordable meal in Sentosa.
Pleasantly surprised by the price, location, air conditioning and quality food. There is lots of options from Asian dishes to Western options too. We ordered the Mac and Cheese, Singapore Laksa, Good Old Days Noodles and Singapore Beef Ho Fan. You can get a drink and Ice Cream for an extra $4.50 if you want the Combo. Lots of seating and air conditioned area
Took the wrong bus and ended up in Sentosa. Decided to sketch inside this food court as it has good view over the Central Beach Bazaar. The local food selection looks good actually, ranging from chicken rice to all sorts of noodles and also Western dishes.
The place was spacious with lots of tables. I chose a view that faces CBB and bought a cup of coffee to accompany me.
Took me a while to figure out the coffee machine as it is self-service and the instructions are not clear. When the machine says to choose your capsule, I thought it was flavour but it turned out to be Long black, Latte or Cuppucino. I took the first choice and it was good. I do notice most of the customers finishing all their food. Western meals like the salmon fillet seemed quite popular.
The tables were kept very clean with efficient cleaning. The air-con was very cold as I sat there for almost 2 hours. A plus point for hot Sentosa.
Very convenient location as it's across from the Sentosa express train station. Only downside is that the toilets are also at the station abt a 3-minute walk across. I couldn't visit as I didn't want to leave my sketching materials on the table.
To buy food, order at the single row of stalls, pay at the cashier on the way out. Very simple.
I could only rate 4 for food as I didn't try any and 4 for service as it's self-served.
Love their food here and the best thing of all the aircon. We were looking for food to eat after our long day out at the beach and chance upon this food court. They have a huge variety of choice and I am spoilt with it. We finally decide on the 3 special dishes by this local chef name Chef Bob. We had the Nasi Lemak Goreng, Ginger Fish Horfun and the Assam Pedas Pasta. The food was so awesome and I have never seen anything like this before elsewhere.
The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Bedrock Mac and Cheese and Cut Dry Aged Porterhouse.
Our server, Marcus, went above and beyond, accommodating every request with a smile. He ensured we had everything we needed and made the evening special.
We were there on a Friday night, it wasn't very crowded but there were families. Some of the tables were abit loud. But the overall experience was wonderful!
Food was great! Marcus was very patient and explained to us more about the menu and suggested what we should get.
He also gave us very good recommendations on what our beverage orders and wine!
First time at Origin. Like previous reviews, service was excellent. Attentive and thoughtful without being overbearing.
Their steaks were expertly dry aged and cooked competently. Sides were generously portioned. The corn was delicious but would have liked a bit more char and seasoning on the brussel sprouts
Ambience was relaxed though it seemed like it was a little unsure deco wise whether it wanted have a darker, warmer vibe like its siblings fireplace and bedrock or a brighter 1960s feel
Thank you remembering that we were celebrating a birthday.
Will be back to try the seafood
Crab cake was dry, accompanying coleslaw not nice at all. Mac & cheese tasted weird. Ordered 2 types of beef at medium doneness, one came medium rare and the other was almost well done. Provided feedback, and was told dry aged beef colour is like that. We just had dry aged beef at Meadesmoore earlier in the week and it wasn't like that. Didn't like that we were given some excuse and end up had to justify our feedback to the staff. Mac & cheese was waived off our bill. Bill was close to sgd200, quite a steal for the quality of beef but we won't be back. Pan pac outlet has better quality of food and service.
Our experience was wonderful and spectacular - the staff were amazing, super helpful and overall made our experience so so good at Bedrock Origin @ Sentosa. Shoutout to Ms Maricel and the team for their great service.
I highly highly highly recommend their Bedrock Mac&cheese, bone marrow starter and the Bedrock Black Pepper steak that we did a double order! YUMS! 🤤🤤
Their sides such as the mushroom, Brussel sprouts and Asparus is also a great pair to have. Not to mention, BOMBE ALASKA is a must to try too for a rare experience and a yummy sweet treat after the whole meal.
Overall a wonderful experience for us, and would definitely come back! 🤩🤩🤩
