It has undergone a recent reno or facelift. There are alot of repeated items on the shelves. The baby section looks expanded. Could not find things like jigsaw puzzles. The Nintendo area looks really nice, with interactive displays and games demo.

Came here to pick up a toy for a colleague’s son and the reception at the counter is great! Rani is very friendly and upsells the membership benefits well. I was convinced to sign up. Good job. We need more of such individuals to enhance the service quality of retail service in SG!

Changes everywhere in the retail stores at Vivo City

We are a group of 3 adults and 2 children Miao Shu Hong who attended to us was very helpful during the ordering process and was very attentive to our table services. Without prompting, she make sure that children cutlery are provided and provided recommendations to the dishes that are child friendly and suitable for the entire family. She’s easy to speak with and made us so comfortable during dinner time. Smiley and friendly and made the entire dinner so enjoyable. We had more rice than usual that day.

Very blessed to have a private room for dine in! Service is good, place is clean and comfortable. The service staffs were very attentive and helpful in recommending dishes... We loved the samsui chicken and ordered additional serving as its too good!

Some hits and some misses. Overall, it's not too bad. Service was good, only towards the end of the meal, we had difficulty getting the service staff's attention to serve our desserts and to refill our tea. This, they can improve on, especially for tables (in rooms) right at the end of the restaurant.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Soup Restaurant! The food was delicious, warm, and comforting — truly living up to the restaurant’s name. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. A special thank you to Lee Yoke Chu, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was attentive, polite, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her warm attitude and professional service really stood out. Highly recommend this place — not only for the food but also for the excellent hospitality. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

Had a great dining experience at Soup Restaurant! Always loved their homely and comforting flavours — the Samsui Ginger Chicken is a must-try, served with their iconic house-made ginger sauce. The Traditional Boiled Soup, Honey Truffle Pork Chop, and Tofu Prawn are also consistently flavourful and satisfying. This time, I also tried their Japan-inspired fusion dishes at VivoCity, created by Chef Yuya Seki from Niigata. Really impressed by the creativity — especially the Squid & Clam in Murakami Tea, and the Braised Pork Belly with Acacia Honey, which was tender and well-balanced. The highlight for me was the King Crab Earthen Pot Rice with ginger sauce — comforting yet premium. Highly recommend for those who enjoy classic Chinese dishes with a modern twist. Great service, relaxed ambience, and perfect for sharing with family or friends. Will definitely be back to try more of the seasonal specials!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Soup Restaurant, and I just had to take a moment to praise the exceptional service provided by one of the staff members, Qiqi. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made excellent recommendations, ensured our tea was always topped up, and checked in regularly without being intrusive. What truly stood out was her cheerful attitude and attention to detail – she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. It's rare to come across service this thoughtful, and Qiqi really elevated our experience. The food was, as always, delicious – the Samsui Ginger Chicken and herbal soups were spot on. We’ll definitely be back

Decided to try Soup Restaurant for dinner after a long day, and it turned out to be such a great experience. The interior design was beautiful, giving off strong 古代 (ancient Chinese) vibes — it didn’t even feel like we were in Singapore. Super cosy and atmospheric! The menu had a good variety, and everything we ordered was really delicious. The soup of the day was incredible — I’ve tried soup from places like Lao Huo Tang, but this one was even better. So rich, comforting, and flavourful. We also ordered the Samsui Ginger Chicken (like chicken rice chicken), and it was so damn good — super tender and juicy. The ginger sauce placed in the center of the plate brought everything together perfectly. The vegetables were also fresh and well-seasoned — definitely recommend! And lastly, a big shoutout to the staff — service was honestly amazing. It’s rare to find such warm and attentive service in a shopping mall restaurant. They really made us feel welcomed. Will be back for sure!
