Some hits and some misses. Overall, it's not too bad. Service was good, only towards the end of the meal, we had difficulty getting the service staff's attention to serve our desserts and to refill our tea. This, they can improve on, especially for tables (in rooms) right at the end of the restaurant.

Had a great dining experience at Soup Restaurant! Always loved their homely and comforting flavours — the Samsui Ginger Chicken is a must-try, served with their iconic house-made ginger sauce. The Traditional Boiled Soup, Honey Truffle Pork Chop, and Tofu Prawn are also consistently flavourful and satisfying.
This time, I also tried their Japan-inspired fusion dishes at VivoCity, created by Chef Yuya Seki from Niigata. Really impressed by the creativity — especially the Squid & Clam in Murakami Tea, and the Braised Pork Belly with Acacia Honey, which was tender and well-balanced. The highlight for me was the King Crab Earthen Pot Rice with ginger sauce — comforting yet premium.
Highly recommend for those who enjoy classic Chinese dishes with a modern twist. Great service, relaxed ambience, and perfect for sharing with family or friends. Will definitely be back to try more of the seasonal specials!

I had a wonderful dining experience at Soup Restaurant, and I just had to take a moment to praise the exceptional service provided by one of the staff members, Qiqi. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made excellent recommendations, ensured our tea was always topped up, and checked in regularly without being intrusive.
What truly stood out was her cheerful attitude and attention to detail – she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. It's rare to come across service this thoughtful, and Qiqi really elevated our experience.
The food was, as always, delicious – the Samsui Ginger Chicken and herbal soups were spot on. We’ll definitely be back
