When compared with the Penang fried kway at the Penang state, this one was average. The colour was not right either. It was reddish colour. I would think twice before recommending this one to someone who has tasted a fried kway teow at the Penang state before.

For someone who crave for Penang food, I would recommend this hawker stall in Kopitiam of Vivo City. First, I was quite intrigue with the way the cooks fried the noodles and battered oyster. They looks as though they know what they are doing. Then I had to order my favourite a plate of Penang Char Kway Teow, 滨城炒粿条(Stir Fried flat noodles) and Fried Oyster, 蚝煎. The first bite into my plate of CKT, I already know that i would enjoy this meal. The CKT are well fried into every strand of noodles and not too oily. The wok (锅气) must be hot enough and the frying must be fast to attain a great standard. The fried oyster is also really fabulous as it is both crispy and soft within. The huge oyster really enhance the beauty of a plate of battered oyster. But the most amazing part about this stall is that this stall sells halal food. I was dumbfounded when I was told that this stall is halal. Therefore, I highly recommend this stall.

This store is located in the food court on the first floor of Vivo City. Penang Fried Kway Teow is a stir-fried dish of thick, chewy noodles, which are fried in a large wok on the spot, making it hot and delicious.

This set of ATM machines is on the ground floor, closer towards the river side of Vivocity. It's right now located across from Aburi-En, #01-159/160. It's not the most intuitive of locations, given that there's so many other better spots closer to the MRT entrance, but I guess it would have been an empty spot left unused in any case. Better than nothing, especially if you're in need of cash while dining at Vivocity along one of the restaurants/bars, or at Haidilao.
