It was easy to get a table when we reached at 1230pm. Simple dining place and service was fast.
The noodles are quite nice, flavorful but not too salty or heavy handed. The beef slices tasted great but some of the tendons was a bit hard. The pan fried dumpling was quite delicious too.
I've always love the Taiwanese food culture. For the restaurant to be halal certified, it opens up a chance for Muslims who wants to experience new food culture, and for this we really appreciate it.
The service and atmosphere is excellent. There are a variety of dishes ranging from dumplings, noodles & rice. It was our first time eating here, so we tried their signature pan-fried dumplings. It's a go-to dish to order if you're here. Juicy chicken dumplings with crispy skirts paired with ginger and vinegar 👌🏻
Next, we tried their Braised Beef Scrambled Egg Rice & Braised Beef Noodle. Both portion are pretty big and they are generous with the beef serving. The meat is soft and flavourful and their flat noodles are chewy. Each bite and slurp is a flavour burst in your mouth.
I would come again with my friends to try other dishes in their menu.
they were super sweet and welcoming, and i really recommend the beef braised soup noodles, they are making it halal soon, so i really recommend you to have this on your list of next places to eat!
Tried the noodles here and the broth was rich and flavourful, noodles cooked just right, and the portion was generous. What makes it even better is that it’s halal-certified, so everyone can enjoy it with peace of mind.
Service was excellent too, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout. Definitely a place worth revisiting if you’re craving authentic Taiwanese-style noodles with a halal option and great service.
It was my first visit to Yakiniku Like, and I must say I was impressed.
From getting a queue number online to being seated, everything was hassle-free.
We sat at the counter seats facing outward, and I liked that they had shades providing privacy, especially with the crowded playground just outside.
Oh my, the selection of sauces was impressive! My favorite was the Garlic Chili Sauce.
We ordered the set meals and upgraded to Bonito Seaweed Rice. It was the right choice - the meat was delicious, and it paired perfectly with the rice.
I will definitely come back!
Great for a rushed bbq experience, and you don't come out smelling bad. Otherwise, it's rather noisy and not conducive for a romantic night. You are somewhat expected to finish your food in 50 minutes, though no one chased us. The beef was on point for it's price point, but nothing to rave about. It isn't that cheap (compared to it's Japanese counterparts in Japan), but acceptable within the SG context. Overall, a good place to dine at and satisfy your bbq cravings.
My 2 gems Jasline and Yvonne enjoy dining at Yakiniku Live in VivoCity.
The queuing system is modernised and good. We get a queue number and will be informed via web when our number is called. This gives us opportunity to shop around the nearby shops before our number is served.
We enjoy the 300g Karubi Beef set menu. A pity the rice is too soft (too much water has been added while they cook it). The soup is tasty and the kimchi is yummy.
We enjoy the experience of grilling the thinly-sliced beef strips that contain lots of fats 😘(yummy! And animal fats are healthy)
Dining time is limited to 50 minutes per table. We exceeded by 8 minutes and the waiter did not say anything.
Server John is very friendly. He asked me for my Foodie San Mobile app to gather points and to enjoy the one-free-drink offer. He taught me to redeem the S$2.90/100gram beef offer for my next visit and on top of that, he presented me with a S$5 coupon for my next visit (min spending S$40).
It is an enjoyable evening
Jason was very attentive to us and pushed sales by letting us know about the latest promotions they were having, the overall experience was really good we had our mesh changes frequently when it got charred. Definitely recommending my friends and family to come to this outlet. Thank you to the rest of the team for making our experience enjoyable.
Great food, clean environment, polite and happy servers. Ordered karubi and sukiyaki karubi sets. Both taste good. It would be good if it could have more lean meat cuts. The servers handled their work professionally. Always attentive, they served with pride and with joy. We would be happy to go back again.
The variety of food is very rich, including beef, pork, seafood and all kinds of grilled meats. The prices are also very reasonable. I visit almost once a week. This is also my first choice for grilled meat.
