VivoCity Station serves as the primary gateway to Singapore's largest waterfront retail and lifestyle destination, directly connected to HarbourFront MRT station. This underground interchange station operates as the terminus for both the North East Line (NEL) and Circle Line (CCL), with the official station codes NE1 and CC29. The seamless integration between the MRT station and VivoCity mall makes it one of Singapore's most convenient transport hubs, where shoppers, tourists, and commuters converge daily.
Accessing VivoCity from HarbourFront MRT is remarkably straightforward, with underground Exit E leading directly to Basement 2 of the shopping mall within just a one-minute walk. Alternative exits C also provide direct access to the retail complex, ensuring visitors can enter the mall without exposure to the elements. Beyond serving VivoCity, the station connects to various commercial developments in the HarbourFront precinct and operates a bus interchange with multiple bus stops, offering comprehensive public transport options for the southern waterfront area.
The station's strategic importance extends beyond shopping access, as it serves as the crucial link to Sentosa Island. Visitors heading to Sentosa can proceed to VivoCity Level 3 to board the Sentosa Express monorail at the S1 VivoCity station, making this transport hub the essential starting point for beach getaways, theme park adventures, and island resort experiences. With four ground-level exits (A, B, C, and D) and extensive underground connectivity, VivoCity Station exemplifies Singapore's world-class integrated transport planning, seamlessly connecting urban retail with island leisure destinations.

Had a very unpleasant experience on 19 Aug’25 about 5pm when taking the train to imbiah, the male Indian train staff w spectates just blatantly ignored us THRICE when I asked nicely, and he did not acknowledge us nor reply, was so taken aback by his behaviour. It was so bad to the point one has to call him out on his behavior only then he proceeded saying he was “busy” cmon you could’ve gestured and directed us to other staff. Don’t be sorry only because you got called out for bad service

VivoCity Station is a great way to get to Sentosa island. The monorail runs frequently so the wait is not long at all. The monorail is clean and spacious and the views and experience overall was great!

Exploring the beauty of Sentosa Island via the Vivocity Monorail was a highlight of my trip to Singapore. While the queues for the monorail could be lengthy at times, the anticipation of embarking on a new adventure made the wait worthwhile. As the monorail glided across the water towards Sentosa Island, I was treated to breathtaking views of the Singapore skyline and the sparkling sea below. The journey was not just a means of transportation, but an experience in itself—a chance to marvel at the city's architectural wonders and natural beauty from a unique vantage poi, though be prepared for potentially long queues. Alternatively, consider taking the affordable SGD 1 bus from the Vivocity bus stop to Sentosa Resorts World parking area for a smoother journey.
