HarbourFront MRT Station serves as a crucial underground interchange connecting two major rail lines in Singapore's southern waterfront district. Operating as the terminus for both the North East Line (NEL) and Circle Line (CCL), this strategic transport hub carries the station codes NE1 and CC29. The station's prime location beneath Telok Blangah Road places it at the heart of the HarbourFront precinct, providing seamless access to one of Singapore's most vibrant commercial and leisure destinations.
The station features a well-designed four-platform configuration spread across two basement levels, with ticket concourses at Basement 1 and platforms at Basement 2. Five strategically positioned entrances ensure convenient access from various surrounding developments. Beyond MRT connectivity, commuters can easily transfer to the Sentosa Express monorail at VivoCity Level 3, making this station the primary gateway to Sentosa Island. The HarbourFront Bus Interchange located nearby offers extensive bus connections, while the Singapore Cruise Centre caters to maritime passengers arriving by sea.
Operating daily from 5:30am to midnight, HarbourFront MRT Station connects seamlessly with major retail and commercial landmarks including VivoCity mall and HarbourFront Centre. For travellers heading to Outram Park on the North East Line or Telok Blangah on the Circle Line, this interchange provides smooth transitions between services. The station's comprehensive facilities and strategic position make it an essential transport node for both daily commuters and tourists exploring Singapore's southern attractions, particularly those venturing to Sentosa or embarking on cruise journeys.

On 29 Jan 2025, 1448h, the door closed unexpectedly without light flashing on its passengers. One passenger was hurt at MP5. Door remain opened for only 1 minute or less, instead of the usual 3 min. And the number of passengers entering and leaving was more than that of a normal day. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 …

Entry point to Sentosa if you wish to go there by cable car. Good ambiance like any other MRT stations in Singapore

Lift is great help! Crowded but all works well. Different exits can be confusing for the 1st x , but for repeated travel, once u know which is most direct to ur destination, just stick to it with another alternative exit in mind....

I’d rate HarbourFront Centre an 8 out of 10. It’s a convenient shopping and transit hub, especially for those heading to Sentosa or taking a ferry. The mall has a decent variety of stores, including fashion, electronics, and daily essentials. Food options are plentiful, with both local and international choices. It’s generally clean and well-maintained, though it can get crowded during peak hours. The layout is straightforward, and it’s directly connected to VivoCity and the MRT. Overall, a practical and enjoyable place for shopping, dining, or travel connections.
