sukiya kin used to be very good but standard has dropped a lot. service staff were very slow and often missed out our orders (online QR ordering was removed idk whyy). now need to add $15 per pax for the sashimi buffet. their salmon sashimi used to be very fresh and fatty (I think they used salmon belly last time) but now their salmon is very sad. tuna and swordfish also nothing very nice. will not recommend sashimi buffet at all. At least the hotpot is still more or less the same as before. but overall quite disappointed, will not come back here again. can find much cheaper and better hotpot places elsewhere.

my friend and i ordered the standard buffet. food isn't very nice. moreover its more expensive than shabusai and tastes worse. nothing at all tastes japanese, and they call it a japanese hotpot which makes me feel skeptical. pork belly taste inedible. it wasnt fresh and it wasnt sweet. egg tastes strange and doesn't taste of egg but potato. green vegetables were bitter. pudding was insanely sweet, didn't like it at all. carrot looks like it was shredded and came from a packet that was done by mass production. condiments are meh. chicken soup and tomato soup weren't very good, tomato soup felt very pastey and you could tell they use tomato paste to cook the soup and not fresh tomatoes. chicken soup was salty, not in a very pleasant way. didnt feel like drinking the soups much. best thing is beef, not bad but not the best. it lacks fats which give it that depth of flavour and it lacks sweetness. chicken taste fine. watermelon was obviously gmo, didnt really like it. watermelons should have black seeds, that would define that the watermelons are fresh and natural. ice cream is what you can get off the shelves. they charge also if you dont finish your food so i suggest don't overtake the food and try bit by bit, so that you wont risk the inability to finish your food. one of the worst hotpots i have tried. wouldn't come back.

Great place to get a quick fix for hot soup with free flow meat selection. Our server was Philip and he made us feel very welcomed in the restaurant. 10/10 food service from Philip would recommend 👍👍👍

Food is pretty good! Had the lunch set meal which comes with 3 trays of meat and Veggie. Shabu shabu and Sukiyaki soup is great. Staff were very nice too. My only complaint was the amount of meat given to me and my lunch mate was different. He has way more meat than me. So would be good if there’s no disparity 😀
