The food and location was 100% on point, as well as the price point.
The menu was innovative - a mix of western influences and authentic flavours.
The service was a bit slow considering that the restaurant wasn't full. My glass of wine took 20 minutes to serve when I saw it at the pass for 15 min, and the staff messed up our bill and entertainer discount but they were polite and apologetic. I think we just had the luck of getting a young and new server, but she was nice and friendly, so it's fine.
I highly recommend the eggplant and the Buah kalek. They were both outstanding. We also got the prawns with curry that had a nice buttery flavor, and the chap chye was a healthy portion to share and plenty of authentic flavor.
The location was beautiful and surprisingly wasn't infested w mosquitos that you might expect during sunset and right after the rain!
The toilet was clean, automated and were Japanese.
I will definitely be back!

We flew up from Australia to go to Quentin’s for my wife’s birthday. It was truly outstanding and worth the flight. The Chicken Debal Curry was so good 👍😋🤤. The Chap chaye was delicious. The service was the best. We were so impressed we went back 2 days later for the Ox tail Debal Curry 🤣. We are back in Singapore in December and will be going to Quentin’s Bar again. Thank you for a wonderful birthday and amazing food.

Had a great dinner here - didn't know what to expect as it was my first time but was really impressed by the food and service. Highly recommend the signature devil curry with oxtail (have it with both rice and the baguette), the potato croquettes and the sweet potato bun with spiced pork filling (both starters).
The signature cocktail also went very well with the spicy curry! Dessert was good too - had the gula melaka lava cake.
Overall a great experience and better than expected. Would recommend a visit and will definitely bring more people the next time so we can try more dishes!
P.S. its not too formal and there's nice alfresco seating

Great food, lovely ambience, good service, and reasonable prices. Would totally recommend.
There was a complimentary serving of prawn crackers as starters.
For mains and sides, we ordered the corned beef fried rice, cod otak, sotong black, and sambal petai with prawns. Every dish was delicious. The corned beef fried rice was a great comfort food dish. I loved the sambal petai with prawns too - the gravy was very yummy.
For dessert, we got the gula melaka cake, which was delicious.
Will be back!

Enjoyed their cocktails and my husband ordered their signature dish chicken debal which he was super impressed with, it has a nice spicy kick to it. Peter the owner was there tonight serving and was so personable such a great host, we enjoyed chatting to him. We sat outside and it was lovely such a great atmosphere. The prawn crackers as a complimentary entree was a delicious surprise. We'd definitely come back and try more food and cocktails! Awesome service too.
