Very disappointing outlet when it come to their ala-carte dishes. I had duck in miso soup. Tho the taste is just so-so but the duck meat is just too little for the asking price.
Compare to any food outlet selling chicken rice and it will satisfy your craving way better, but not here where the price is on the high side and the serving is just too stingy...a big NO for second shot.

Not recommending this place for meal or tart.
They used to serve fabulous fruit tarts but standard has dropped. The fruit toppings quality and size of fruit slices are also showing a lot about Japan Foods Holdings' focus - cost cutting over quality.
We ordered the cha-nabe set - nothing to shout about in term of flavour, but the drink was really disappointing. The lychee lemon tea only had w lychee as compared to 3 in the picture. And one of our lychees was small and shrivelled. Pathetic. Basically they cut the cost by reducing the number of lychee when you order it with set. A la carte order of the drink comes with 3 lychees. JFH's way of cutting cost again.
Disappointed and will be thinking twice before stepping into another JFH's outlet.

The atmosphere is nice. I ordered the lychee rose tart, lychee rose is usually a good combination, but it was subpar in this case: the cream is cloying, the rose tasted more like bandung, and the lychee flavour didn't go very well with it. Would have preferred not to eat it.

Hi Fruit Paradise!
Yesterday, three of us went to Jurong East Jem Fruit Paradise and ordered two fruit tarts and one salmon set. Total spending: $39.01. The salmon set comes with a drink. Lychee lemon comes with two straws, and we attempted to request one more.
However, the staff's body language indicates that she is dissatisfied with our request, and she then completely ignores it. If, as a service line employee, you are unable to meet our request, simply inform us that you are unable to provide us with one more straw, and that two straws are the maximum. We have no objections. You should not simply ignore your customer and blackface.
Furthermore, we overheard the black shirt staff discussing us behind us with the rest of the staff, including the kitchen staff. And we can hear them saying that we only ordered one set of salmon. All of these employees are also staring at us the entire time. This makes us very uncomfortable and upset.
We've been to other Fruit Paradise locations in Singapore, and we love the Fruit Paradise fruit tart. It's delicious and looks nice. Other branch service is excellent, but not at Jem Branch.

Visited a few times. The dining area is a little small and claustrophobic. Good selection of hot and cold drinks, cakes, and dishes. I am reviewing for the matcha and parfait. Both taste good, but the price is a little steep for its serving size.
Service was efficient and fast most of the time we dined even when the place was packed with people.
Wide selection of cakes. Tasted some, and I could say it wasn't sweet for most.

Ordered the smoke duck udon set, $16.90. It comes with 2 side dishes, pickled radish and mashed potato and a drink, mixed fruit tea. The duck was nice except that the portion was too small. Fruit tea drink was average. It would be better more bits of fruits added. Dessert Berry Frozen smores was actually caramelised marshmellow with vanilla ice cream and frozen berry at the bottom. Overall experience not too bad

If you’re craving for simple, lightly flavoured Japanese soup udon in a comfortable, non crowded place for lunch in Vivocity, this place is for you. The flavours are quite mild, even for the kimchi version.
I tried the Aburi Chicken Soya Milk ($13.90) and Pork Shabu Kimchi ($12.90). If you order ala carte, the dishes come with a small appetiser, usually pickled radish, and a small potato salad.
Between the two flavours, I prefer the soya milk base as it’s more fragrant and comfort food like. But perhaps at $13.90 it is just a little overpriced — the aburi chicken is quite small and I am always barely full after my meal. But I guess this is the price to pay for a more comfortable setting.
Which is why their Matcha Frozen S’mores ($9.90) is a meal saver. Torched marshmallows on top a bed of alternating matcha and vanilla ice cream; scoop all the way and you get crunchy corn flakes. Super sinful and sweet but oh so worth the calories. Just remember to have this with a group of friends!

First time dining here. Not overly expensive and relatively healthy, tasty meal. We liked the main dishes and side dishes were nice too. Matcha dessert looked good, but maybe I'll not a connoisseur as was a bit strong for me. Would come back to try more of the menu.
