Positioned along the scenic Sentosa Boardwalk at 6 Sentosa Gateway, Bones n Barrels brings together an eclectic fusion of contemporary global, European, Mexican, and Indian cuisines in a relaxed waterfront setting. This casual dining destination has carved out a unique niche by offering an unusually diverse menu that spans continents, from hearty European classics and spicy Mexican favourites to authentic Indian specialties including dishes like Butter Chicken Masala and Paneer Saagwala. The restaurant prime location along the boardwalk provides diners with cooling sea breezes and the soothing sounds of water, creating an ideal atmosphere for laid-back meals.
The extensive menu features standout dishes that showcase the kitchen range, including the popular Pasta All Astice with hearty lobster and noodles cooked in seafood stock topped with tomato and parsley, and the Neapolitan Caprese Pizza made with buffalo cheese. Indian and Nepali offerings prove particularly popular, with guests praising the Butter Chicken, freshly made Naan, flavourful Momos, and aromatic Dal. The Mutton Dum Biryani and various vegetarian options like Paneer Pizza round out a menu designed for sharing. Beyond the food, Bones n Barrels has become known for its affordable drinks, including ten dollar nett in-house IPA, making it a favourite spot for casual beverages and snacks.
The restaurant atmosphere truly shines during evening hours when live weekend performances complement the unbeatable ambience of sunset views over the water. While reviews suggest the establishment excels more as a relaxed drinking and snacking venue than a fine dining destination, with food quality receiving mixed feedback, the combination of affordable alcohol, waterfront location, live music, and eclectic menu options continues to draw crowds seeking a casual good time. Whether you are stopping by for a Margherita at sunset or settling in for a full meal of globally inspired dishes, Bones n Barrels offers a uniquely diverse dining experience along one of Sentosa most picturesque walkways.

Was running and end up at Sentosa Boardwalk dead end due to construction. Ran out of water and ask if they’re kind enough to refill
“sorry sir can I get some water to refill my water bottle?”
Waiter smiling and said “Ah no sir”

Slow service, super long to take our orders even though the place wasn't very full. Told us we can't use Entertainer today without any explanation. Took order halfway and walked off, had to wait them to come back and finish taking the order. Missed things on the order and had to keep checking on the bill. Unacceptable service. Cockroach scurrying under the tables indoors.
Example interaction:
"Is this the chicken or the garlic naan?"
"Yes."
"No, is this the chicken or the garlic naan?"
"Yes."

Last night we went for dinner but the food was very bland, oily and tasteless. When we spoke to the owner and chef to give feedback they were quite rude and indifferent to our complain. All in all a very bad experience for us.
The mocktails were more expensive than the cocktails. Location is good but I suggest go there for only a drink and have food somewhere else.

We recently celebrated my Dad’s 68th birthday at Bones & Barrels, VivoCity and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. But what truly stood out was the incredible effort from the chef, Mukesh Bhagat who went above and beyond to prepare jain delicacies for my parents.
Every bite was a reflection of the chef’s creativity, attention to detail, and genuine passion for food. It felt like more than just a meal—it was a heartfelt experience that brought joy to our entire family.
Our parents were deeply touched by the thoughtful touches, from providing complimentary ice cream and French Fries to putting on special bday music for my dad. We’re so grateful to the entire team at Bones & Barrels, especially Chef Mukesh Bhagat, for making this celebration so special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to create meaningful memories through exceptional food and service.
