Food generally ok. kampung chicken & pork rib overly salted, affected the overall taste. Service was disappointing. We were seated near the front but the waitstaff were mostly concentrated in the centre area, making it difficult to get their attention. At 1 point I have to stand up for quite awhile before anyone noticed. A pot of tea served but we have to pour it ourselves & never offer to split or serve the noodle. 1 staff only came to replace our plates when we are already nearly done with our meal (about 90% finished).

Service was not good, with 9 pax giving us a mid table squeezing ourselves and also with the amount of food we ordered cannot be placed out fully.. apart from that we have to hold the food and walked the table for dishes.. Only to complaint and the manager mention that we choose the area.. the restaurant have loads of empty tables and we have to force that we want to change to a bigger table and rotating dish stand so that we can rotate the food around rather than we walking around for food. We have 3 seniors above 70s and a kid below 5, how busy for us to take food for everyone! Food was way too normal comparing to what the review, social media posted.. $100 plus advance start platter with fish Maw that’s not even soft or will cooked for chewing… very disappointing. For a $600 plus meal.. Indonesia curry prawn, I dun even know what type of diluted sauce it was, it’s a seafood restaurant with prawns that’s not “feeling prawn”? I think I can get something more worth.

The decor of this branch is pretty nice, with tanks of live seafood and kelong feel. All the dishes ordered were very delicious and staff is friendly too. Been to a different branch previously but these dishes are all different except for one. Will bring my family to enjoy the yummy and delicious food at Yang Ming.

First visit and thoroughly impressed by the selection and quality of the dishes. The notable highlights among the seafood dishes were the salt and pepper live prawns, BBQ squid, and oyster omelette. The non-seafood dishes were also very good, particularly the char siew fried rice. But what was by far our favourite was the special pork ribs - so flavourful, and perfectly crispy on the outside, while so tender and moist on the inside, the meat practically slips off the bone. The service was also good. Very well staffed - all attentive and prompt. The food was also served very quickly and the dishes came in quick succession which allowed us to enjoy the various dishes all together.

It's understandable that this place is really popular and there's a lack of staff to take orders, but even after consistently asking for staff to help take our order, we waited around 15 minutes before someone assisted us. The worst part was when they took a later customer's order before ours, even after we tried to get their attention. Boon was the only attentive one who managed to placate us and ensure our food was served well. Other than the less-than-pleasant service, the ambience is pleasant (it has a kelong feel), and the food was delectable. Do place your order for the pig stomach chicken soup in advance because it's usually unavailable on site.

First patronized Yang Ming Seafood at its Bishan branch years ago and was totally blown away by their signature lobster Chee Cheong fun. And now we are back again in Vivo to celebrate a dear friend’s bday. We are still impressed with the food quality but the prices inflate so much that I don think I will visit for this dish again. Fancy paying close to $500 for a lobster Chee Cheong fun! I personally love the white pepper crab and crab braised with bee Hoon, but there are better and cheaper options. #seafood #foodporn #birthday #bffs

Good location, liked fresh seafood variety. Service staff well trained and attentive despite crowd at peak hours. More memorable dish would be chicken in pig stomach soup. Good dining experience.

Yang Ming Seafood Restaurant offers fresh, high-quality seafood. The pig stomach and chicken soup is a must-try, and the lobster is exceptionally fresh. A great choice for a seafood meal in Singapore!

The setup of this place is interesting. It’s like a kelong as you walk into the dining area. It’s quite deep in with the end facing Sentosa. Service and food are great. Ordered a small salt and pepper prawns and we had 5 good sized prawns which are really fresh and delicious. The claypot tofu with roasted belly is good too. My only disappointment is the dace fish with kailan. The dace was in tiny pieces making the dish a bit too salty. It’s ok but not to my liking. Overall pricing is good too. The 300g live prawns was only $28 a very reasonable price for a delicious item. Will return to try other dishes.

Despite making a booking in advance, we still experienced an unreasonably long wait. The lack of staff and their indifferent attitude added to the frustration. After waiting so long, we were finally told that the dish we ordered was out of stock, and we had to wait even longer for a replacement. Very disappointing experience.
