A typical Ya Kun outlet. Food was quite nice although a bit expensive.
Ordered 2 sets that comes with a drink, egg and toast (costed $6 per set). But the price is kinda expected with the high rent at VivoCity.
Used app to order. Staff was friendly and nice. A bit crowded and slightly squeezed when I came but managed to get a seat.
Will come again if there is any promotion.

We had our breakfast here before going to Sentosa. The place was crowded, and it was a busy atmosphere. Finding an available table, especially for a group of five such as ours, was not easy, Each table has four chairs, and so we had to get an extra chair. Their toasts were served hot, as well as the soft-boiled eggs. Sugar for the coffee was pre-mixed; it was too sweet for my taste. The staff was very friendly.

Ordered the Kaya Toast Set. Ordering and payment were fast and smooth, but the food took a while to be prepared and I had to wait for a bit. The toast was alright, but it felt a little too heavy after the meal.

This branch is super huge but crowded as well. New branch just beside NTUC.
Coffee, tea, toast and eggs maintain Yakun's standard.
Seating is a bit close together.
Good for a quick drink.

ordered the kaya toast set and requested for less butter and eggs cooked slightly longer (they often taste a bit too raw for me). the cashier acknowledged with an “okok” — but when we collected the food, the eggs were still very raw, and the toast came with a huge slab of butter. clearly, the instructions weren’t followed.
the space itself is pretty cramped and the queue was long. would only recommend coming here alone or with one other person. not ideal for groups.
food aside, it’d be great if staff could pay more attention to simple requests. it makes a difference. however they really have fast service.

Ya Kun Kaya Toast is one of a must try in Singapore. There are many rest located across Singapore.
Recommended: Set A (Kaya Toast Butter + 2 Soft Boiled Eggs + Coffee/Tea).
Jan 2025: $6.3
Unfortunately usually the restaurant are quite small and packed with customers. So you might have to be patient to wait for customers to finish eating.

Great place to try out typical breakfast in Singapore!
It’s very affordable and fulfilling at the same time. Both iced coffee and iced tea (milk tea) is GREAT. It was beyond expectations.
Toast was also very good.
Highly recommend this place!

This Ya Kun outlet is always crowded and the lines are always long, but the service staff are really quick to take orders. I don’t even have to wait beyond five minutes for my drink.
Their drinks, regardless of who is working that day, is also super consistent. Will definitely recommend this outlet, especially if you are on your way to Sentosa!
