I really have a strong affection for this restaurant and I go there almost every week. I dropped by to have an experience when the vivo store here just opened. The food here is consistently scrumptious. Among the staff, the one named Yao is extremely warm-hearted and friendly. I'm definitely going to be a frequent customer here in the future.

We tried
Red-Braised Lamb Ribs
Think premium Australian lamb, slow-braised with carrots in a rich, savoury broth. Fall-off-the-bone tender. Honestly, it barely needed a fork.
Spicy Beancurd Strips
Steamed till silky, then drenched in sizzling oil and fermented black bean sauce. Unexpectedly addictive and seriously flavour-packed.
Stir-fry Spicy Squid Tentacles
Perfectly bouncy with just the right kick. If you know, you know.
Sizzling Claypot Chicken
Still the main character. Comes in hot, stays juicy, tastes like home.
Braised Beef Brisket with Whole Tomato
Slow-cooked, beefy, and beautifully balanced by the acidity of the whole tomato. Comfort food done right.
Roasted Chilli Century Egg with Mashed Eggplant
Smoky, creamy, a little funky in the best way. Don’t judge it until you’ve tried it—then thank me later.
Glutinous Rice Cake with Brown Sugar
Soft, chewy, and dripping in caramel-like brown sugar. Sweet tooth = satisfied.
Final verdict? 10/10 would go back.

The Hunan Stir Fry Pork has a generous portion with good flavours that pairs really well with rice.
Also order the Eggplant with Chilli and Century Egg. It has an interesting flavour with an objectively decent taste but I’m just not a fan of cold dishes.
Service was also good but we experienced a rather long waiting time to get a table (as expected on a weekend dinner).

The restaurant always crowded during peak hour, have to go earlier to avoid long queue.
Tried their signature dish Hunan Stir-fry Pork with less oil option, and for the vegetable dish we ordered Stir-fry Organic Cauliflower.
Tbh for the Stir-fry Iberico Pork, the taste was just average, nothing special about it, just a normal stir fry pork with green chilli. Didn’t taste any wok hey on the dish either. Also we found some of the green chillis they put inside the dish were not fresh and got a smell already when we ate it, so we need to put those chillis aside so it won’t ruin the whole dish taste.
For the Stir-fry Cauliflower, it was nice and the vegetables were fresh.
Portion was decent for the price. Free snacks and ice cream, ice/warm water is also free of charge. Service was okay. Environment is nice but quite busy and hectic.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively but comfortable. You can tell they take pride in the food and service. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
If you love spicy food and are craving something truly authentic, this place is a must-visit. Will definitely come back again!
