Most of our foods ordered are nice except the truffle fried veg, too oily. The cold cut is good. Wine deals for the month are worth ordering at $29 per bottle. Some mistake for the reservation: I booked a table for indoor seating a month ago and called 2 days before the date to reconfirm, and yet we were given an outdoor high chain seating. I'm quite disappointed with the service although they managed to change for us because at that time the restaurant is very empty. I cannot imagine if no more indoor seats are available then this really spoils our mood as the booking is for event celebration!

Coming to this place every week for the last six years. Food is always on the mark. The crew is extra ordinary and attentive, they’re very enthusiastic and professional.
This place can get really very busy, but the Service no lacking.

We had dinner at the Vivo outlet with a group of 10. The cheese platter was a great start, and we enjoyed a variety of dishes, including fries, pizza, escargot, clam soup, crispy vegetables, calamari with squid ink mayonnaise, a mixed platter, and chocolate lava cake. We also ordered three bottles of wine. Overall, the food was above average, though the dessert was on the sweeter side.
What stood out the most was the excellent service—Gerald was especially attentive to our needs, which made our dining experience even better. The restaurant can get quite noisy during peak dinner hours, but it’s much quieter before 6 PM and after 9 PM. That being said, the lively atmosphere shows how popular this place is for gatherings.

We order the chicken cesar salad . The chicken was hard . We place order at 8.10pm with the wine together with the food . We waited till 8.40pm and the wine is not even been served and I had to walk over to the staff to ask .and the staff still can replied u had ordered a bottle?
I felt the management need to do something about the service .Making customer to wait for 30 minutes to serve a bottle of wine is unacceptable. The table behind us order just a while ago and the wine is been served within 10minutes time .
I wont want to come back to this branch again as the service is bad.

I'd thought of Wine Connection's bistros as sort of secondary to their main business of selling wines, but these restaurants can hold their own in a contest against similar establishments, not only in terms of their prices, but also the quality of the food (and the enormous and fairly inexpensive wine selection doesn't hurt either).
Most of the dishes we ordered, while not standing out in any particular way in brio or creativity, were nonetheless perfectly serviceable and delicious. No complaints on service, and the Vivocity branch's ambience is only boosted by the presence of ample alfresco seating affording those inclined a superb view of the southern Singapore straits.
Liked:
- Padron peppers. Superb, lightly crisp, not too vegetal, goes great with sauce, though the dense cluster of seeds in the center presents a perplexing puzzle viz. their edibility.
- Steak and fries. Relatively inexpensive, and the steak itself was cooked to a nice medium rare that had a good balance of tenderness and chew.
- Truffle Fries. A hot basket of fries. Can't go wrong with these. Although a little strong on the truffle.
- Grilled broccolini. I have to say, along with the peppers, this only solidifies my opinion that Wine Connection does great grilled veggies. I could eat a ton of these.
- Cheese board. Good spread of normal cheeses at a relatively affordable price point.
Ambivalent:
- Chorizo and potato. Potatoes were slightly underseasoned and the chorizo had a sort of gritty, unbecoming texture, like cobbled-together rubbings of an eraser.
- Moules frites. Some of the moules were a bit cold by the time they arrived, though I have no complaints about the overall quality of the mussels and the accompanying broth.
- Lava cake. It's lava cake. There's a reason Jon Favreau made it out to be an enduring symbol of sell-out chefs working in overpriced, soulless restaurants.
Needs work:
- Tiramisu. Too much (tasteless) cream and only a few meager layers of ladyfingers, which were themselves soaked in an acridly bitter coffee concoction. One of the worst tiramisus I've had in recent memory and totally a ripoff at $16.

We had an enjoyable late lunch at this outlet while taking a break from our Christmas shopping. They offer good, reasonably priced food and wine. The menu features a nice variety of dishes, all well-prepared and satisfying. The wine selection is impressive for the price point, making it easy to pair with the meal. It was quite packed and noisy on a weekday evening. Prawns did not appear to be like shown in the menu but taste was above average. The steak is ok but have tasted better ones. Many varieties of drinks. Friend went purposely to tell a waitress to put a candle on the desert but it was missed out 🤔
