Very disappointing despite helpful staff
I was trying to get an aquatic plant for my son’s newly adopted guppies. We did not have experience with fishes so we asked the staff, sharing with them the type of fish we have, the size of the tank and checking if we need to get aquatic plants for oxygen supply.
The front desk lady recommended an immersible pump and a manmade aquatic plant. We installed at home but within 2 nights all guppies died because they were sucked into the immersible pump.
After checking the box for details, we realized that the immersible pump is meant for creating water fountain and not for fish tanks. It was very disappointing especially when the Vivocity outlet carries guppies and fishes for sale. The staff should have basic knowledge of various pumps on the shelf.

Lousy cashier service. Was trying to buy some food for my turtles. Stood in the queue and this cashier is serving the customer over the counter but keeps talking and talking bringing customer ahow this and that. And customer still asks tonnes of questions and she (,cashier) never even bother about the queue who wants to pay money. Customer still slowly open one by one dont know what dog stuff and check expiry date one by one at the counter and she even allow that. Waste of time.

Dead animals?
What else is not being taken care of ?
Where is the care for animals?
Singapore’s largest pet chain yet they allow a dead fish that was being eaten to just float there.
I can only imagine the care they put into the other animals

This might not seem much, but made the entire experience much more heartwarming, personal and thoughtful.
I’d lost my hamster of 2 years earlier in January, and it took me awhile to get over her passing. When scouting for a new long haired syrian, she’d turned out way too much larger than my original cage meant for my yellow blue pudding.
After consultation with the store assistant, I’d decided on a larger cage — calling that the cage is essential, since the purchase of the new hammie felt right. I think that there was some resonance there with the assistant, and she’d assisted my buy professionally with care.
This was when I’d ran into assembly issues with the cage, and ended up mishandling it on my own mistake. In panic, I called up the store assistant, not knowing what to do after the hefty cost.
This was when she reassured me that she’d understood the constraints and helped me with a replacement. As I write this I am thankful for her demeanour for helping out a stressed out new (?) pet owner, no strings attached, with utmost thoughtfulness even right down to making sure the new product was safe for me to lug home.
Thank you, makcik! This really genuinely made my day. You have no idea how much of a difference this made to my second pet rearing experience.

Since getting my puppy, I’ve been on the lookout for pet stores with quality supplies—and Pet Safari truly stands out. One of the biggest perks of shopping in-store is being able to physically check the products, and Pet Safari makes this experience even better with their wide variety and excellent customer service.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond by allowing me to test different carriers to ensure the perfect fit for my puppy before making a purchase. It’s rare to find such patient and knowledgeable assistance, and it really made the whole shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to the Malay staff for her assistance today.
Whether you’re looking for food, toys, carriers, or accessories, Pet Safari delivers on both variety and service. Top-notch in every way—definitely my go-to pet store from now on.

Good range of products and well-stocked. Service is great as well. I have one suggestion though - the rabbits are nocturnal by nature, hence would be great if they can be given some form of shelter/ hiding “hut” like you do for the hamsters.

I learned so much from Elizabeth today and truly appreciate her time and willingness to share her knowledge about birds. At home, I have a hamster and a chinchilla—both fluffy, furry animals that I'm much more familiar with. Birds, on the other hand, are quite different, and I wasn’t sure what to expect when handling one.
Thanks to Elizabeth, I had the chance to experience it firsthand. Her passion and care for the birds really stood out, and I loved how openly she shared her insights. I gained a whole new appreciation for these amazing creatures.
I’ll definitely be back when I’m ready. For now, I’m going to go home, find the perfect spot, and return soon!
