Thai Accent transforms Level 2 of VivoCity into a little corner of Bangkok, offering authentic Thai cuisine with the warm hospitality the kingdom is famous for. The restaurant's stylish interior blends retro and contemporary design elements, creating a funky, clean atmosphere that feels both familiar and fresh. Diners seated deeper into the restaurant enjoy bonus views across to Sentosa Island, adding a tropical dimension to the already vibrant Thai dining experience. Daily operating hours from 11:30am to 9:45pm accommodate both lunch crowds and dinner gatherings.
The menu showcases Thai cuisine's hallmark balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy flavours through carefully prepared dishes that range from comfort classics to refined specialties. The Tom Yam Seafood Soup delivers the authentic punch of Thai spices, while the Pandan Leaf Chicken offers fragrant, herb-infused bites wrapped in nature's packaging. Signature dishes like the Pineapple Fried Rice topped with chicken floss (3.90) provide Instagram-worthy presentation alongside satisfying flavours, and the Green Curry demonstrates the kitchen's skill with carefully blended herbs and creamy coconut milk. Popular items like Pad Thai and Coconut Tom Kha round out a menu that caters to both Thai food novices and connoisseurs.
With a 4.9/5 rating across over 100 reviews, Thai Accent has earned its reputation as a reliable choice for quality Thai dining at VivoCity. While the pricing runs higher than quick-service Thai Express, regulars agree the superior ingredients, authentic preparation, and pleasant ambiance justify the investment. Reservations through Chope ensure you secure a table, particularly during weekend dinner service when the restaurant fills with both families and date-night couples.

one of the worst restaurants ever. 40$ for 2 basic drinks, 1 papaya salad and plain rice.
even the drinks were bad, watermelon juice was clumpy and tasted bland, lychee soda also tasted artificial. for 7$ per drink you would expect at least a bit better.
next up the food, the papaya salad is not a papaya salad from thailand. it tastes so sweet and not even spicy. if your employee is thai nationality please fire him.
the only thing good about the place is the view, but the food is so terrible please Never visit this restaurant

Terrible customer service from big guy around 2:40pm today. Should not work in customer service if he cannot do his job properly. Pointed us to come over, throwing around the menu with attitude. Unbelievable.
Terrible service. Hire better staff. Left the restaurant without ordering any food as I will not support bad service. I’ve come here many times, but will not be returning

I had a cup of bubble tea with me. Immediately upon sitting down, I was told curtly by the staff”put your drink aside.” What a warm welcome. I was totally turned off. The food tasted bland and was more suited for a person who has vowed to stay off spicy food. Ironic considering this is a Thai restaurant. Even upon paying the bill the staff at the counter did not say thank you and apologise for the earlier incident or take his time to explain. I was met with silence. Conclusion: your hard earned $$$ deserves better. Stay away from Thai Accent.

Finding excellent vegetarian options for my mother can often be a challenge in Vivo, but our visit to this Thai restaurant was an absolute delight. The menu offered a thoughtful selection of authentic Thai vegetarian dishes, each bursting with vibrant flavours and fresh ingredients.
The *Pad Thai Jay* (vegetarian Pad Thai) was a standout—perfectly balanced with just the right tanginess and a satisfying texture. We also loved the *Coconut Soup*, which was aromatic and creamy, yet light on the palate. The staff were attentive and happy to confirm which dishes were fully vegetarian, putting my mother at ease.
Will be back for the non-vegetarian dishes.

When you do not wish to queue, this restaurant is an alternative but be prepared for the high price, especially if u ordered the fish.
The only good thing is the access to the boardwalk from the restaurant for u to see the sunset.

Thai Accent brings the heat and heart of Thai cuisine to the table. The stir-fried basil chicken was fragrant and fiery, packed with juicy chicken, chili, and crispy basil—an instant comfort dish. Their stir fry kailan with salted fish also helped to balance the spice.
The Tom Yum seafood soup, served traditionally in a hotpot, was a standout. The broth was tangy and aromatic with a gentle kick, packed with mushrooms, seafood, and herbs that warmed from the inside out.
Authentic flavors, generous portions, and a casual, welcoming vibe—definitely worth a visit if you're craving Thai food with real soul.

Nice restaurant, not busy, and very good Thai food. It was nice to get away from the crowds in the mall. We had prawn cakes for an appetizer (delicious) and a green curry dish for a main course. We shared both and it was enough food for lunch. The lychee juice drink was delicious too! Friendly staff, but they didn't have WiFi for customer use here.

Thai Accent at VivoCity is a fantastic spot for anyone craving authentic Thai flavors with a view! Located on the second floor, the restaurant overlooks the scenic waterfront, offering a peaceful ambiance that enhances the dining experience.
The menu is extensive, featuring all the classic Thai favorites like Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Tom Yum Soup. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and the perfect balance of spices, capturing the true essence of Thai cuisine. The portions are generous, and the flavors are rich and aromatic without being overly spicy—although you can request extra heat if you’re up for it!
The highlight here is the pineapple fried rice, beautifully presented in a carved-out pineapple, and the mango sticky rice for dessert, which is sweet and refreshing. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff who are quick to offer recommendations and ensure a pleasant dining experience.
With its delicious food, welcoming staff, and beautiful views, Thai Accent at VivoCity is a great choice for a relaxed meal with family or friends. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai food in a comfortable and scenic setting!
