Moon Moon Food, VivoCity, Singapore Located within VivoCity shopping mall, Moon Moon Food offers Taiwanese dishes in a casual setting. Despite having received a few years of Michelin Bib recognition, the flavors tend to be quite mild and lack depth. Service quality was inconsistent, with some staff displaying a reluctance to engage politely with customers. Additionally, the prices are on the higher side for the portion sizes and overall experience.

The food that we ordered tastes good! Would be better if portion of the other food is more. The soup portion is just nice to share among 3 person!

First visit to this restaurant and we ordered some of their signature dishes. We tried three braised item, Pork Large Intestine was the best, with a strong herbal flavor and a nice crunch. The tempura and chicken gizzard were just average. The chicken mid-joint wings used the same braised sauce but were more deeply infused, I personally think is the better choice. The fried rice was okay, with most of its flavor coming from the Chinese sausage. The highlight was definitely the Spicy Sesame Noodle, the sauce was thick, creamy, and full of flavor, with a slight kick of spiciness. Interestingly, I could taste a subtle tea-like note as well. However, the dish didn’t come with any meat or vegetables, which made it feel a little incomplete. Unfortunately, the dining experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter with a waiter. While we were still finishing our meal, the waiter suddenly took away the bowl in front of me without asking (although it was empty), I was still reaching for side dishes and not done eating. I gave him a glare, but he seemed unfazed and continued clearing the rest of the plates. I found this behavior quite impolite and disappointing, especially from a well-established restaurant. It’s something they really need to take note of.

Walked past this restaurant when shopping in Vivo and decided to give it a try. Only when browsing the menu when we realized they serve Taiwanese dish. We had gizzard, pig skin and pig ear as the three braised items. We also ordered the peeled Chili pepper chicken soup, spicy sesame noodle and Taiwanese salty crispy poppers. The dishes were all good portion and flavourful. Service was good and prompt. Will be back to try other dishes.

Half of their name is letter o. Anyways, not sure if this makes sense but the dishes were really good but are only good on its own🤨? The dishes shine on their own but don't complement each other. I did like the soups as they were flavourful, as well as the popcorn chicken as it gave me an exam buff 💯 💪. Not halal, no cilantro

Had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant this evening. If you're looking for healthy and authentic Taiwanese dishes, this is the place for you. All the food is thoughtfully prepared with a focus on health and nourishment. The flavors are more subtle and clean compared to the rich, savory taste you might expect from traditional Taiwanese dishes — a refreshing take that emphasizes natural ingredients and balance. Do give it a try!

Absolutely delicious Taiwanese food. Located in Harbourfront, this restaurant serves brilliant fried chicken. The lime goes well with the salt and pepper, giving it a nice tangy and salty flavour. Braised chicken wings were sweet and tender and the braised pork rice was delicious. Highly recommended

We had a lovely time here, the food was tasty, and my husband enjoyed the braised dishes a lot. I really enjoyed the Moon Moon fried rice, and the mango pudding dessert. The service staff from Taiwan was very friendly and hospitable.

The food here is affordable and nicely priced. Place is clean and brightly lit, makes for a nice quiet dining experience at VivoCity when it can get really crowded elsewhere. The fried rice is apparently their signature dish but I thought it was just fine. Could be tastier. The meats were a tad dry but what stood out for me was the chilli which was really tasty. Will I be back again? Probably as I would like to give the soups and side dishes a try too. With their great service, they warrant a return visit!

Staff were warm and friendly. Good service. Food quality and overall taste of all their signature dishes were subtle and well balanced, which showcased the ingredients well. Refreshing compared to the usual heavily seasoned and fried Chinese cuisine.
