Back at Cassia, Capella for my second visit ā and itās just as incredible as I remembered. The restaurant is absolutely stunning, with a calm, luxurious (atas) vibe.
Service is top-tier. A special shoutout to Alvin, who was warm, professional, and took the time to explain each dish to us in detail. You can tell the team here truly cares about delivering an experience, not just a meal.
Dim sum here are absolute works of art:
⢠Rock Lobster Dumpling: topped with caviar and gold foil ā bougie and brilliant.
⢠Abalone Siew Mai: rich and juicy with perfect texture.
⢠Charcoal Iberico Pork Buns with Truffle: soft, smoky, and packed with flavour.
⢠XO Carrot Cake: crispy crust with flavourful moist centre - super addictive.
⢠Har Gao with Truffles: classic with a luxe upgrade.
They also have an extensive Chinese tea menu.
Also worth mentioning ā Cassia has a pet-friendly outdoor area! You can bring your furbaby and dine at the outdoor terrace, an information that we found out from the manager, Bryan, during our visit. Plus, they offer complimentary parking for diners, which is a great perk!
I came back because my first visit left such a strong impression, and this second time just confirmed it: Cassia is a gem that keeps delivering on quality, service, and vibes. Already planning visit number three!

Had a wonderful time at Cassia. The food is divine with many great dishes. In particular we loved the crispy noodles.
The staff were extremely attentive and helpful and even surprised us with a dessert to celebrate our special occasion.
The vibe of the restaurant is very peaceful and the decor is a very trendy modern Chinese look.
Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants in Singapore.

As a guest staying at Capella Singapore, I had the pleasure of dining at Cassia, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the most moving culinary experiences Iāve hadānot only in Singapore, but anywhere in the world.
From the very first dish to the final pour of tea, every element was executed with both precision and soul. The cuisine at Cassia remains deeply anchored in authentic Cantonese tradition, yet itās elevated with a refined sense of modern luxury that never feels forced or showy. Every plate told a storyāwhether it was the umami-rich delicacy of the soup, the depth of the Wagyu, or the expertly balanced lobster with a sauce so divine it could stand on its own as a signature of the kitchenās prowess.
And yet, as remarkable as the food was, what truly made the evening unforgettable was Mr. Alvin. From the moment I was seated, Alvin went above and beyond in the most genuine and generous way. He wasnāt simply a serverāhe was a storyteller, a guide, and a quiet presence who elevated the meal into something almost ceremonial. He took his time walking me through the tea pairings, explaining the philosophy and cultural background of each selection, and articulating the meaning and preparation behind every course. His attentiveness continued even beyond the mealās conclusion, ensuring that every detail of my experience felt thoughtful and seamless. His grace, kindness, and depth of knowledge truly deserve to be recognized.
The care with which Cassia prepares and presents its food is matched only by the care with which its staff, like Mr. Alvin, treat their guests. For anyone staying at Capellaāor even simply looking for a transcendent dining experience in SingaporeāCassia is not to be missed. It is a place where heritage meets elegance, and where hospitality feels deeply personal.

I went to a carefully chosen dinner spot with my friends, and everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was wonderful, and above all, we were truly impressed by Ervinās detailed explanations of the dishes and his exceptional service. He kindly guided us through the menu, making it easy to decide what to order, and the service from start to finish was outstanding. If I ever need to choose a Chinese restaurant againāespecially for an important occasionāIām sure Iāll come back here.

We came here for one lunch and one dinner during our stay in Capella.
Both times we left satisfied.
The highlight for dinner was the HK style steamed lobster with superior soy sauce - just like the way you would eat a fish.
It was recommended so that we can truly taste and enjoy the lobster.
The wok-fried wagyu was decent too.
For lunch,
The dim sum is hands-down the best i had in SG. every dish i can taste the small detail and effort that is put into it.
We were blessed to be served by Alvin, who is not shy for recommending.
Overall, the service is good.
Will definitely come back again.

Iāve been to cassia a few times and itās my favourite restaurant in Singapore!! Itās definitely a hidden gem! All my friends love it too š«¶š» I didnāt take any pictures but the 30 year old pu er is really good too! The staff are really sweet as well. I would even say the mango pomelo sago and the duck fried rice is the best in the whole world!! I usually hate duck but cassia makes it great. The only thing I didnāt really enjoy is the charcoal pork truffle bun because I donāt like the way the truffle tastes with the chasiu š the combination of both strong flavours kinda tastes weird together (not in the pictures) but truffle crystal dumpling is great! I enjoy the chasiu in the rice rolls more than the standalone one 𤣠If you have any occasions or youāre nearby you should definitely eat here!

Another wonderful dining experience at Cassia. Special thanks to Chef Alan for his warm reception, and the food he recommended was indeed excellent. This is especially for the Braised ox tail, Spinach egg white and Fishmaw soup. Their Service staff namely Mr. Darren Yong and Ms. Abby Tang certainly deserve a 5 star rating. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Came here for a four course lunch meal. The whole dining experience was superb. Food is good and the service is great. Staff is attentive and will refill tea when our tea level is low.
