All along I thought their meat was good. Tried previously, the meat was not bad. Today the pork belly was so tough, hard to chew, I literally couldn't swallow it. The waiter said he had no choice but to cook the pork fully cooked, but I think it's overcooked.
Then he said, if you want I can remove this dish for you. My table only has 2 meat, I was late dining in at around 9.30pm (last order done), so I only left with 1 meat to eat. Luckily I ordered the Steamed egg, which is a little bland & the tang hoon which was average.
I don't think I will be back anymore.
Steve
The worst Korean food I ever eaten in years. The banchan selection is the worst I ever seen. The beef prime rib and bottom sirloin triangle were of poor quality, tough meat with no fats and comes with sinew.
It is also terribly overcooked with many charred and bitter bits
It seems like the brand have cheapen themselves with poor quality meat and staff that doesn’t know how to cook. It is evident with the poor crowd.
Only the veg selection and the sesame oil is good.
Will not visit ever again.

We visited the restaurant recently and found the food tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing and affected our overall dining experience.
The male server with glasses who attended to our table did not serve 小銀魚 (small anchovies) with the side dishes. When we asked him about it, he told us that the small anchovies were not being served for the day. However, to our surprise, we later saw another server bringing a complete set of side dishes, including the 小銀魚, to the next table.
This kind of inconsistent service and misinformation is unacceptable. It made us feel frustrated and unfairly treated. While the food was good, the poor service experience left us disappointed. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves service standards to ensure fairness and consistency for all customers.

I recently dined at Bornga VivoCity, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. I tried the signature Korean barbecue, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The marinated meats were tender and juicy, and the side dishes complemented the main course perfectly. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, providing excellent recommendations that enhanced our meal.
The restaurant also has a fantastic selection of drinks, including traditional Korean options that paired wonderfully with our food.
Overall, Bornga VivoCity exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Korean dining experience!

Korean BBQ as I like it. If you have eaten at Bornga in other countries this is the same. For me this is exactly how I like an Korean BBQ to be. You can choose set’s with different kinds of meat. Or pick out the ones you like. You get all the add ons here, it’s all included. Salad leaves, garlic, sauces, kimchi etc.
As an added bonus you can choose to sit by the water.

Best is their marinated short rib beef. Their free side dishes come in many different varieties. Staff are very hardworking and polite. Our family has always been served by a very friendly Vietnamese waitress. Prices are reasonable and affordable. Must try!

Ordered lunch set BBQ for 2 which includes 2 meat (got the signature beef and pork belly) with a seafood soup. And of course many side dishes!
Signature beef was really good but the pork belly was dry and tough. Service was good!
