Claims Executive (contract staff)

We are expanding and looking for the following position in our Tanker Claims Department.

1. Claims Executive (6 months contract)

The Job Role

• Efficiently able to handle post fixtures operations such as negotiating claims and respond timely to e-mails

• Ensuring all claims are properly submitted to Owners / Charterers within timeline

• Liaising with Owners / Charterers to provide dispute resolution and negotiation for settlement

• Will assist to send regular chasers to Owners / Charterers for agreements and responses

• Ensuring all the claims are correctly and accurately updated into the data system

• Generating demurrage reports from the system

Requirements

• Min 2 years relevant working experience in Tanker Claims

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Meticulous, proactive, positive attitude, and willingness to learn

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Basic understanding of the Charter Party and Shipping Terms
