I’ve been a loyal customer of this outlet for over a decade, but today’s service was truly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. I visited on 23 July at around 1PM and was served by a Malay gentleman with a buzz cut (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name) in white polo t. He was so attentive and caring, reminding customers to watch their steps, and even warning us that the water was a bit hot so we wouldn’t get burned. Little gestures like these really mean a lot. He’s thoughtful, kind, and clearly passionate about his work. Very lucky to have someone like him on your team. The food was great as always, but today it was made exceptional by the outstanding service.

My lunch kaki and I felt like eating Japanese food and decided to give Sushi Tei a try. The restaurant was well patronised at lunchtime on a weekday, and we were seated at the counter instead of at a table. We were hungry and quite excited about our meal. We ordered our dishes based on the pictures in the menu. Both of us couldn't help feeling disappointed when our orders arrived. I ordered UnaBara Chirashi Don ($22.80), whilst my lunch kaki ordered Ringo Madai Bara Don ($17.80), a seasonal dish. Please compare the menu pictures with what was served. You can't see any rice in the menu picture because each bowl is so full of ingredients. But the dishes we were served looked noticeably different. My lunch kaki exclaimed: "My dish looks pathetic!" No complaints about freshness of the ingredients. I felt the rice was on the hard side whereas my lunch kaki was ok with the rice. Service could have been improved. There were times when we had difficulty attracting the attention of the restaurant's staff even though we were seated right in front of them at the counter. It takes a special skill not to be able to see me, as I am quite big size and I was frantically waving hands over my head to catch their attention.

This was a nice place to get sushi after a day at Sentosa. It offers a good view of the harbour. They didn't have gluten-free soy sauce but there were no issues with cross-contamination. Ramen was ok but curry udon and tempura was a good choice. There is currently a special for 2 Kirin beers so get in on that if you like.

To be a restaurant inside a mall, their food is really good. The sushi felt fresh and the sashimi was of great quality. The service was good, although I feel they didn't like having to get a high seat for my baby. Other than that they did their best to serve. The atmosphere is nothing special, at least during lunch time. Maybe in the evening it's better with the view to Sentosa and the city. Probably will come back.

Come off peak hours so that the queue is more manageable. Don’t let the entrance fool u, as it opens up to quit a large dining area. It is nice that tables are at a comfortable distance from each other and there are tables with a view. Sushi Tel food doesn’t disappointment. There’s consistency for the quality they deliver.

Rice bowl portion is big for me and if you are small eaters, you can share it for 2 persons. But meat or tempura is not many … Sushi is good … As you know that this is restaurant standard and pricey … There is no reservation and they only accept walk-in customers. So, my advice is better to reach there around 6pm for the dinner if you don’t want to wait for the long Q.

Nice ambience. Food was good. We had yellow tail, tuna and salmon. All of them tasted fresh. Service was fast and efficient. Self order concept with a tablet on every table.

Last week for 2pax with such an awesome view. Since we don't want to have noodles, We ordered 2 rolls and others. The rolls were tasted awesome. Service is good, the server will refill our green tea once it was low amount in the cups.

Food here is fantastic with a nice view! Got the nabeiyaki udon which is always consistently good 🫶. Love the mango crab maki as well, the mango was so sweet! Look at that deep yellow / orange color 🥰🧡. Only thing that can be improved is the service, which is always a problem with restaurants in Singapore 😄.

Expensive experience with Sushi Tei. Helpful staffs and great environment. Great seating view to the Harbour. I love the lobster and salmon rolls. Sukiyaki set was great to try but quite overpriced for a small set of beef slices. Overall a place for you to pamper yourself with good sushi and great service.
