Singapore Oceanarium (formerly known as S.E.A. Aquarium) underwent a transformative rebranding and expansion in 2025, reopening in July as an enhanced ocean institute dedicated to marine education, research, and conservation. This world-class facility houses more than 100,000 marine creatures representing over 1,000 species across 8 hectares of carefully designed habitats. As one of the largest aquariums globally, it serves dual purposes as both a mesmerising visitor attraction and a serious research facility working to preserve threatened aquatic species.
The oceanarium distinguishes itself through its unique blend of live habitats, compelling oceanic storytelling, state-of-the-art digital innovation, and interactive technology that creates an educational experience far beyond traditional aquarium visits. Visitors journey through various marine ecosystems, from tropical coral reefs teeming with colourful fish to the mysterious depths where unusual deep-sea creatures dwell. The massive viewing panels offer unforgettable perspectives on marine life, with some tanks so large they create the sensation of standing on the ocean floor watching entire ecosystems function above you.
Open daily from 10am to 7pm, Singapore Oceanarium can be reached via the Sentosa Express from VivoCity with an alight at Waterfront station, or by bus routes 188R, 963R, 123, NR1, or NR6 stopping at Resorts World Sentosa. The facility's location at 8 Sentosa Gateway places it within the Resorts World Sentosa complex, making it easy to combine with other attractions for a full day of entertainment. The oceanarium's mission to inspire greater knowledge, love, and action for ocean conservation makes every visit both enjoyable and meaningful.

It was pretty awesome. The crowd was a bit much but I did go a little past noon on a Saturday. But it was a really nice experience overall. I absolutely loves the part where my 3 year old got to handle a dried out shark's egg! She's never going to forget that. Thank you Singapore Oceanarium!

Amazing place. Really worth an evening to take your time and browse through the exhibits. A bit too vast to go with young kiddos as they get tired quickly. You need at least 4 hours to explore the entire oceanarium. The open ocean was truly mind blowing! More interactive displays would make the experience more appealing to kids.

The entrance was greeted with Jelly fishes, very beautiful fishes and their cleanest and healthy environment, proper lab facility to take care of the aquatic animal. Must visit❤️ can be covered within 3-4 hours easily and can carry food inside.

I’ve been living in Singapore for the past four years, but this was my first time visiting the Singapore Oceanarium, and it was truly magical. Perhaps the universe was waiting for me, it just reopened after renovations with some exciting new additions, making the experience even more special.
Walking through, I was mesmerized by the incredible variety of marine life—from tiny blue fishes to majestic whales, starfish, stingrays, jellyfish, and of course Nemo and Dory. Each creature was unique, showing me that everyone, big or small, has their own beauty and place in the world. It was calming, grounding, and made me fall in love with nature all over again.
For anyone visiting Singapore, this is a must-see! The combination of serene underwater beauty, thoughtful renovations, and the magic of nature makes it an unforgettable experience.

$50-$55 per entry, senior citizen has 10-20% discount.
The whole journey without much stopping takes around 2-3hrs.
The exhibition split into different themes and it has most of my expected species of fish, with a good surprise of having diver staff cleaning, walking, and playfully making photo bombs in the main tanks is a surplus to see its operation design.
I enjoyed the main shark tank, jelly fish, and bizarre animals section.
I don’t enjoy too many people who crowded into a small tanks and need to wait or rush into the front to see the fish. It is kind of buzz kill for me.
I also appreciate they don’t have dolphins performance kind of show.
