FairPrice Xtra at VivoCity stands as NTUC's flagship hypermarket achievement, spanning an impressive 90,000 square feet across two floors that redefined grocery shopping in Singapore when it opened in August 2019. This isn't just another supermarket—it's an integrated retail experience that combines over 35,000 products with innovative services, entertainment zones, and even an indoor farm. The basement level houses all food-related products and services, while the first level stocks non-food items and includes the extensive Unity Pharmacy, creating a one-stop destination for families, tourists, and daily shoppers alike.
The hypermarket's standout features go far beyond typical grocery offerings. Fresh vegetables grow right inside the store using ComCrop's urban farming methods, live seafood awaits in large display tanks where you can select your catch, and bread bakes fresh daily in the in-store bakery. The food preparation service allows busy shoppers to have vegetables, meats, and seafood processed and prepared for hassle-free home cooking, while dedicated dine-in areas let customers pick their favourite seafood or meat cuts to be cooked and consumed on-site. The store also features Lotte Mart Express, bringing Korean snacks, instant noodles, and beverages with self-cooking stations for those craving instant Korean cuisine.
What makes this FairPrice Xtra particularly special is its thoughtful design for VivoCity's diverse clientele. A dedicated leisure and hobbies zone caters to Sentosa-bound tourists with BBQ equipment, gardening supplies, bicycles, and repair services, alongside a tourist section selling local delights, memorabilia, and luggage repair services. Families benefit from extensive baby and childcare products, nursing rooms, and a dedicated children's play area. Open daily from 8am to 11pm at 1 HarbourFront Walk, this hypermarket exemplifies modern retail convenience, making grocery shopping an engaging experience rather than just another chore for the thousands who pass through Singapore's waterfront shopping hub.

Selling plenty of organic products. Big supermarket consist of 2 floors selling all kind of products. They even sell hot food and they provide chairs and tables for you to have a meal there. The layout and design of it is very pleasant and make your marketing experience very comfy.

This is a large store with a wide variety of products on display. It's particularly useful when one is looking for a certain goods but no brand in mind.

NTUC really upped their game. Seriously, HonestBee’s Habitat is nothing compared to this. Sticking to their “fair price” motto, now that “Xtra” is really another playing field altogether. Great job NTUC.
