I visited the store to purchase a pair of shoes, but the experience was disappointing. Despite the store not being busy—with only two groups of customers present—the staff seemed impatient and lacked experience, which made the shopping experience less enjoyable than expected.

Unpleasant service experience here. Staff came across condescending and impatient. Came with the intention to purchase but felt too frustrated with the service to buy and decided to go to another outlet

Terrible service from the staff on 2 Nov after lunch. All were standing around chitchatting, and not helping. When approached to try the shoes in my size, the malay lady staff slammed the shoebox down and just walked away. Went to ASICS next door to purchase my shoes instead.

Great little shop and good service. Sadly the two NB 574s I bought are extremely slippery on wet hard services. The rubber is hard and slippery. The tread pattern means that less than 50% is actually in contact on the ground. I tried roughening the soles, spraying on shoe grip, made no difference. Maybe I got old stock? No other shoes I own are this dangerous. Already slipped and fell over once. I threw them away. Goodbye NB. On to a different brand.

New Balance Store @ VivoCity – Renovated and Refreshed Recently purchased a pair of sneakers and a T-shirt from the New Balance store at VivoCity. The store appears to have undergone renovation — it’s now noticeably brighter and more spacious compared to the previous layout, which felt narrow and cramped. While the selection remains somewhat limited and there aren’t many discounts, the quality and materials of the products are solid and reliable. Overall, a pleasant shopping experience. Will definitely consider returning in the future.

I got shoes here on a Saturday but it wasn’t busy at all so that was great. I take a bit of time choosing out shoes so the guy helping me was quite patient with me looking, me trying, and me asking if they had different sizes and such. The store is a decently sized on the 2nd floor and they’ve got a good selection of products and their quality is quite nice and they’ve got a good price range so you’re bound to find someone you like. It’s mainly a sports shoe store so keep that in mind before visiting.
