Monster Curry lives up to its name with truly monstrous portions of Japanese comfort food at VivoCity. This popular chain has built a devoted following around its signature demi-glace curry sauce - a labour-intensive creation requiring two full days of cooking to blend 14 different spices and vegetables into a smooth, fragrant sauce that strikes the perfect balance between richness and approachability. Unlike traditional Indian curries, Japanese curry offers a milder, slightly sweet profile that appeals to Singapore families and curry enthusiasts alike.
The menu celebrates katsu culture with golden-fried perfection across multiple proteins. The Pork Katsu Curry remains the perennial favourite - a thick, juicy cutlet with impossibly crispy panko coating served over fluffy Japanese rice and drenched in that signature curry. For seafood lovers, the Ebi Fry Curry delivers plump, golden-fried prawns, whilst the Beef Yakiniku Curry offers tender stir-fried beef slices with caramelised onions. The innovative Pork Shabu-Shabu Omelette Curry combines silky egg with succulent pork belly, and adventurous diners shouldn't miss the Natto and Egg Curry. Spice levels range from 1 to 5, accommodating both cautious eaters and heat seekers.
True to its monster branding, portions here are designed for hearty appetites, with combo platters like the Mountain Monster and Flame Monster easily feeding two. Located in the dining precinct, Monster Curry serves lunch and dinner crowds including families heading to Sentosa and office workers from the HarbourFront business district. The casual, energetic atmosphere and generous servings make it a reliable choice when you need satisfying, affordable Japanese comfort food that won't disappoint.

Tried their new overload burgers and am not disappointed! With the unlimited sauce refill, was even better! Visited their Vivocity outlet at 2pm and there is minimal crowd and had a great chit chat with a friend.

Although it’s a chain restaurant, the quality of the food is well maintained. The portions are sufficient for men, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it to those who want to enjoy delicious curry without spending too much money.

Looking for a quick simple. Meal over the crowded weekend. Can't go wrong with a katsu curry. The katsu is alright, as well as the curry. It has curry without spice that kids can handle.
