I think this place is worth 3 stars at the most. I'm only giving this grade because the dolphin trainers were well-organized and made sure that the participants were aware of the safety regulations.
We were willing to pay the price for the dolphin experience because we know it costs money to upkeep the place, give dolphins good food (I see they are always feeding them well) etc.
BUT the overall experience was not good. The toilets are not in the best condition. As an observer, I was bitten ferociously by mosquitoes while waiting for my family to finish their experience with the dolphins. And the worst thing is, they did not provide any towels when the participants got out of the water. It was cold and we still had to listen to the debrief... and wait, listen to their sales pitch for the photographs.
The photographs are such a rip-off, but guess what - we end up having to buy it because the staff are extremely strict about not bringing in your own cameras or phones. 2 photos that cost close to $170. It was the cheapest deal that we could find. The quality of the photos aren't even that great and the photo frame is flimsy. This left a a sour taste in my mouth and I feel so embarrassed about the kind of visitor experience that we are showing to international tourists who just want to come here for a good time with their family...

It is the exploration plus 15 minutes of supposedly swim with dolphins.
"Connection" is a faulty word. You cannot touch them when swimming and almost half the time they put you on a dark mask to hear the dolphins.
But the worst is yet to come
The photos are a total RIP OFF
2 photos cost almost the same as the whole experience. And of course you cannot bring your phone. So that is the way they make money.
It ruined the whole experience.

Oh, what a splendid dive into the world of Dolphin Discovery! Prepare for disappointment, though – the promised 60-minute dolphin extravaganza is more of a breezy 30 minutes, but who's counting? The trainers, oh so generously, make up for it with their short and sweet friendliness.
Now, let's talk about the pièce de résistance – the photo-taking shenanigans. Brace yourself for a financial plunge, as they are shamelessly adept at draining your pockets. Forget about an enriching experience; it's more about their lucrative photo business. With roughly four groups per session, your quality time with the dolphins is reduced to a symphony of "look here" and "look there." Blink, and you might miss the entire dolphin encounter.
And the comedic twist? We unknowingly participated in a photo prank! The "look over here" and "look over there" charade would have been hilarious if we hadn't paid a small fortune for it.
But wait, there's more – the cheapest photo, encased in a plastic frame that's practically a steal at $79! The shots, taken by a so-called professional camera, looked like an amateur's first attempt. Even my nephew, armed with an iPhone, could probably do better. When we dared to request edits and reprints, the service staff gifted us with a classic side-eye.
For a budget-friendly alternative to this aquatic comedy, I'd suggest the shark encounter or the ray encounter. These hidden gems offer a superior experience, likely because they haven't discovered the art of exploiting customers. The identical photo, same tacky plastic frame, this time with rays, is a mere $35 – what a steal!
In conclusion, if you enjoy being taken for a financial swim, this dolphin encounter is your ticket. Otherwise, save your money and seek out a less exploitative dolphin rendezvous elsewhere.

Staff mentioned that some of their dolphins were taken from the wild. People shouldn’t remove wild animals from their natural habitats, THIS IS BAD! Please don’t support them with your money.

When I read the reviews the biggest concern of people has been the pricing . But with the amount of care , I guess its needs(Trainers / Facility / Hygiene etc) . Infact considering Indian currency to SGD its too huge , but its a total diff experience and worth it .

Dolphin Island at Resorts World Sentosa in November 2023 was such a joyous experience for our 18-month-old, wife, and I 🐬 For our little one to safely meet and gently stroke the dolphin (we were paired with Nikko) on cue from the trainer, it was a moment to remember for a lifetime. Ideally we would have loved to dive in for the full experience but the Dolphin Encounter was the only option for our young boy. Nevertheless, I myself have never had the opportunity to get so up close with a dolphin before so this was all so special. Thanks dolphin trainer Jen Chai for facilitating this safe and fun encounter! 🙏🏻 The staff know all the individual dolphins so well and we saw that the dolphins were very well taken care of. We really appreciate all Dolphin Island does for the dolphins and also visitors. Do be prepared to pay a sum for the professional photos and videos, as you are not allowed to bring your own phone or camera in for safety reasons (you will likely get wet even for the encounter). There are also two different ticket entires (you must book a slot in advance): one via Adventure Cove and the other via SEA Aquarium, we chose the latter which was a wonderful experience for the family too. Highly recommended!

Dolphin Island at Adventure Cove Waterpark was such a joyous experience for me ♥️ You can pet, kiss and play with the dolphins. The trainers were nice and gave clear instructions on how to make the dolphin do tricks and stuff.
The only reason I'm giving this a 4-star is because the photos were a bit too pricey. One photo costed SGD$78 which is pretty expensive for a photo.
Overall still a nice experience since it's pretty rare to get close-up and touch dolphins in other countries. Definitely recommend coming though! 🐬

This is an experience that everyone should try at least once! I’m so blown away at how smart and playful the dolphins are. Each one of them were cared for meticulously and you could really see the connection between the dolphin and trainers. I only wished that they didn’t charge so much for the professional photos. It costs about $180 for some printouts and digital copies of the photos. There’s a cheaper package that includes some printouts but no digital copies.

Went there with my wife to celebrate my birthday on 28/8. The Trainers are sincere and helpful on guiding us to experience the Dolphin Discovery journey. It was fun and wonderful to get a closer touch with the Dolphin there. Hope to go back there again in the near future. Thanks!
