I've always love the Taiwanese food culture. For the restaurant to be halal certified, it opens up a chance for Muslims who wants to experience new food culture, and for this we really appreciate it. The service and atmosphere is excellent. There are a variety of dishes ranging from dumplings, noodles & rice. It was our first time eating here, so we tried their signature pan-fried dumplings. It's a go-to dish to order if you're here. Juicy chicken dumplings with crispy skirts paired with ginger and vinegar 👌🏻 Next, we tried their Braised Beef Scrambled Egg Rice & Braised Beef Noodle. Both portion are pretty big and they are generous with the beef serving. The meat is soft and flavourful and their flat noodles are chewy. Each bite and slurp is a flavour burst in your mouth. I would come again with my friends to try other dishes in their menu.

Tried the noodles here and the broth was rich and flavourful, noodles cooked just right, and the portion was generous. What makes it even better is that it’s halal-certified, so everyone can enjoy it with peace of mind. Service was excellent too, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout. Definitely a place worth revisiting if you’re craving authentic Taiwanese-style noodles with a halal option and great service.

Just came back from Batam and felt like trying something new , no regrets at all! My sibling and I tried this place and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend the dumplings! Sadly, I couldn’t take a photo because my phone battery was low. Also loved the refreshing jelly dessert very cooling and delicious. These two items are a must-try! There was a friendly hijabi staff member with mixed features who served us , she was really kind and recommended the dumplings. was incredibly helpful to my sibling and me. She was kind and went out of her way to assist us. We truly appreciate her excellent service and warm attitude. Thank you for making our experience a pleasant one.

Halal Taiwan food. Worth trying. Always wondered how Taiwan street food tasted like so this place has a variety of option to try. Must try would be the dumpling and egg rolls.

The food here is v good. Especially like the beancurd prawn roll noodles soup and the dumplings (both fried and non-fried). The restaurant is also v spacious and busy during lunch hours.

tried this new halal taiwanese spot and was blown away! the food is flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented. i highly recommend the beef noodle soup: rich broth, tender meat, and perfectly cooked noodles. their chicken dumpling was juicy, and seasoned just right. service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance felt cozy yet modern. so happy to finally have a halal taiwanese option in town. will definitely be back to try more dishes! this place is a must-visit!

Trying DaXi again after a long while. The new menu is really different, catering to a wider selection variety with more choices for noodles and rice. Food is still delicious, especially the pan fried dumplings - the crispy base is retained with now plumper and fuller dumpling with enhanced texture. They are also working towards a halal-friendly menu.

Like what others have said, the menu has changed. What seems on first glance - more choice of food. But what the truth is that they remove many of the dishes that are nice to eat. No more Pan fried chicken that tasted like teppanyaki style but replaced with baked chicken leg. No more lu rou rice. And the sub par pan fried dumplings that was delicious in the past. Seems like all pork ingredients has been replaced with chicken.

It was easy to get a table when we reached at 1230pm. Simple dining place and service was fast. The noodles are quite nice, flavorful but not too salty or heavy handed. The beef slices tasted great but some of the tendons was a bit hard. The pan fried dumpling was quite delicious too.
