UX Designer (Project basis)

We are looking for a passionate UX Researcher & Service Designer to drive user-centred design initiatives supporting digital heritage experiences. You will translate research insights into intuitive, engaging, and accessible user journeys across digital platforms.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri
Working Location: Central
Job Type: 5 months
Salary Package: Up to 7,000 (basic)

Key Responsibilities:

Research-Driven UX Design

• Analyse and synthesise research findings to define key user personas (e.g. educators, researchers, heritage enthusiasts, casual explorers).
• Map end-to-end customer journeys to identify and eliminate friction points.
• Design intuitive discovery pathways to enhance engagement with digital heritage content.
• Improve information architecture to resolve user drop-off points and strengthen content discoverability.
• Develop UX deliverables including reports, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.

Service & Design Strategy

• Apply design thinking methodologies to solve complex user and service challenges.
• Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Ensure usability, accessibility, and service effectiveness across platforms.
• Define and track service performance KPIs and recommend continuous improvements.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on UX research methodologies, service design frameworks, and emerging digital trends.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in UX Research, UX Design, or Web/Application UI Design.
• Strong experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Experience translating research insights into journey maps, service blueprints, and process flows.

Good to Have

• Experience delivering Singapore Government projects.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile tools (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with CMS or website implementation projects.
• Certification such as CSM / PSM or UI/UX Professional Certification.
• Skills in illustration, visual or graphic design.
