Job Description

Reporting to Head of Sales, the primary purpose of the Senior Sales Manager is to take full ownership of named customer accounts, retain these customers, and find new business. This role is assigned a range of development and maintenance accounts and held accountable for the performance achievement of those accounts in terms of revenue retention, profitability management, and growth.

The Senior Sales Manager will work directly with customers at a variety of levels as well as internal stakeholders.

Building and developing excellent stakeholder relationships with new and existing customers, fully understanding customers and the industry in which they operate will be a core focus of this role. A substantial amount of time will be spent on customer engagement and engaged selling, but also liaising with internal teams to make sure the customers’ needs are attended to. Required to lead the business conversation with vendors for strategic and joint go-to-market motions business expansion process.

The Company provides complete lifecycle solutions that are custom-fit customers’ mission-critical requirements. The Company serves both local and regionally customers and occasional travelling will be required.

Education Background:

Bachelor’s degree in any disciplines, preferably in computer science, IT, Telecommunication, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

  • 5-10 yrs of relevant Data Center Sales Experience.
  • Need to demonstrate an impressive track record of selling Data Center Co-Location / Real Estate Colocation / Co-location Experience.
  • Proof of structuring large, multi-year profitable contracts.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with customers across all levels.
  • Strong experience in networking with senior internal and external people in the specialist area of expertise.
  • Experience in managing the entire sales process, contracting process, and legal implications of a deal.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of Data Center Co-Location / Real Estate Colocation / Co-location Experience.
  • Experience in Managed Services across domains such as Networking, Collaboration, Data Centres, Security and so on.
  • Customer value management and understanding profitability and ratios of customers.
  • Experience selling products or services to the data center colocation market or selling colocation services to the Government and Private sector.
