Senior / Project Coordinator (Sea & Air Freight / Shipping Operations / 5 Days / MNC)

• Working hour: Monday –Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm)

Job Scope

• Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land
• Apply the necessary customs permits
• Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore
• Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents
• Attending to site meetings, surveys & loadouts as and when required
• Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment
• Update and operate the Operations System (BLU)
• Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project
• Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents
• Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate
• Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager

Requirement

• Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent
• 2 – 4 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry
