Senior Manager/Manager, Projects (M&E) - 3 Years Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager/Manager (M&E) to manage and coordinate the RWS 2.0 Expansion project through all stages of planning, design, approvals, and construction to ensure successful and timely delivery. It involves providing conceptual design input, reviewing consultants’ detailed designs, leading the site project team, overseeing procurement and tender processes, and liaising with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent RWS to manage and coordinate RWS 2.0 Expansion project through all phases of planning, design, obtaining permits, and during the construction phase, to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Provide conceptual design on upgrading and new projects based on Business Users’ requirements
• Review detail designs by Design and Build Consultants
• Provide leadership for site project management team of consultants, contractors, and resident site staff to deliver quality design and workmanship
• Ensure that assigned projects are completed within budget and schedule, meeting the business objectives and design guidelines
• Oversee the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process to appoint suitable consultants, contractors or vendors for the projects
• Liaise with regulatory agencies when required to ensure that projects comply with legal requirements

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
• 5-10 years of design experience in a Consultant Firm on mega-scale project on Power/ACMV/fire protection or building services systems.

Required Skills

• Experience in interfacing works between new & existing buildings services, and building automation system
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and challenging environment
