Revenue Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including production, stay patterns, and channel performace.
• Analyse booking patterns, pricing sensitivity, and market trends to inform pricing strategies.
• Assist in accurate room-night and revenue forecasting, collaborating with Sales for group business insights.
• Control room inventory and allocations to maximize yield during peak dates and special events.
• Manage rate loading and maintenance across all distribution channels (HMS, OTA, Staah) to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor rate integrity to eliminate parity risks.
• Update and ensure content on third-party sites in accordance and align with brand guidelines.
• Support the preparation of Revenue Strategy Meetings, month-end reports, and annual budget exercises.
• Partner with the Marketing team to drive growth on brand.com and optimize online distribution channels.
• Monitor sales programs and promotions to ensure tactical actions are effective and timely.
• Assist the Revenue Manager in identifying "need periods" and implementing recovery strategies.
• Assist the Reservations Manager in monitoring daily operations and ensuring data integrity (Geo Source, Pricing, and Rate Plans).
• Ensure system health by monitoring interfaces to prevent data errors and discrepancies.
• Maintain expert knowledge of hotel facilities, competitor pricing, industry trends, and local market conditions

Job Requirements

• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a similar capacity or diploma in business, accounting or similar preferred.
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in Excel
• Prior experience with inforHMS, Synxis is advantageous
