Job Description:
Handle inquiries and obtain accurate information regarding reservation details.
Confirm and process reservation requests. Ensure all information pertaining to reservations are properly taken and entered to the system and communicated to the relevant departments.
To maximise room sales by upselling to a higher category.
Check correspondence pertaining to room reservations and respond accordingly within the response time and Hotel standards.
Manage incoming calls on room enquiries in a timely and professional manner in accordance with Hotel standards.
Follow up on reported unsuccessful transaction and cancel the booking accordingly on timely manner.
Maintain up-to-date knolwedge of room types, packages, seasonal promotion and hotel service.
Check correspondence on a daily basis before arrival date and ensure all relevant information is acquired and up-to-date.
To assist the Manager to maimise occupancy and yield as per business direction.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Passion for hospitality and guest service.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Strong attention to details and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
Alternate Saturday work week.
Candidates possessing prior reservations experience or customer service experience is an advantage.
