QA Engineer (Automation – TestNG, Java)

About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers to build robust testing frameworks and improve overall test coverage across applications.

• Working Hours: Mon-Fri
• Working Location: Central
• Salary Package: Up to $5500 (basic) + AWS + VB

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and TestNG
• Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web and/or API testing
• Execute automation test suites and analyse test results
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios
• Identify, track, and manage defects through to resolution
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong experience in test automation using Java and TestNG
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver or similar
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
