OpenShift Platform Engineer (Terraform)

We are seeking a skilled OpenShift Platform Engineer to join a team responsible for building and operating a secure, scalable cloud platform that supports critical digital services. In this role, you will design, engineer, and automate container platform infrastructure to enable development teams to deploy and operate applications efficiently in a cloud-native environment.

Salary Package: Up to $9,000 (basic) + AWS

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate the lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as code.
• Develop and maintain automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
• Implement and manage key OpenShift components including OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of the container platform through engineering improvements and optimizations.
• Implement and manage GitOps workflows for cluster configuration and platform management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support containerized application deployments and platform operations.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and continuously improve system stability and performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes architecture/internals.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Knowledge of container platform networking (SDN, OVN) and storage solutions (Ceph / ODF).
• Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools for infrastructure and configuration management.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale container platforms in enterprise environments.
• Exposure to cloud-native platform engineering practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security and operational best practices in containerized environments.
