Murex Datamart Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Murex Datamart professional with strong technical, functional, and analytical skills. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the Murex Datamart architecture, hands-on experience with Unix and SQL, and strong understanding of financial product classes. The role involves Datamart development, reconciliation, reporting, performance optimization, and collaboration with front-office, risk, finance, and IT teams.
Responsibilities:• Strong end-to-end knowledge of Murex Datamart architecture and components.
• Design, develop, enhance, and support Murex Datamart reports
• Work on Datamart configuration.
• Handle Datamart migrations, upgrades, and version changes.
• Analyze and resolve Datamart data issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver system enhancements and new product onboarding.

Mandatory Skills Description:• 9+ Years in Murex Datamart, preferably within a banking environment.
• Strong understanding of Murex trade lifecycle.
• Functional exposure across all major product classes.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux fundamentals for system operations and scripting.
• Should have Strong understanding of SQL for data extraction, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Murex upgrades and migrations.
• Exposure to EOD / Batch processing.
• Experience supporting regulatory or finance-driven reporting.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:• Demonstrate ownership and responsibility in all assignments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/ School of Computing/ Finance IT/ other related IT degrees would be preferred
