Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• To take charge of Projects in different scales within the Group of Companies with main focus on new plant setup
• To study, analyze and propose Engineering Solution, Required Specification, Budgetary Cost, Implementation/Schedule/Installation and commissioning/handover & Project management in terms of time, cost, quality
• To work together with Purchasing Departmnet in sourcing for System/Equipment/Replacement parts
• To assist in service and maintenance when necessary, especially issues that are beyond capability of technicians
• To improve general working and production efficiency/environment/safety
• To perform any other assignments as may be delegated by Management from time to time

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
• 1-2 years hands-on experience in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance work in mechanical plant equipment & facility in the food manufacturing industry preferred
• Proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills, ability to innovate, work independently and cope with pressure
• Previous experience in Wheat Flour Mill operations, maintenance, installation and commissioning is advantageous
