Junior IT Project Officer (Up to $4k + AWS)

We are seeking an IT Project Officer to support government IT initiatives, focusing on end-user device support, system coordination, and procurement activities. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery and operations of IT projects.

Working Hours: Mon-Fri
Working Location: Central
Salary Package: Up to $4,000 (basic) + AWS
Job Type: 2 years contract (renewable)

Key Responsibilities

• Support IT projects covering hardware, software, and end-user devices
• Coordinate device deployment, replacement, and troubleshooting (PCs, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices)
• Perform basic hardware and software issue diagnosis and resolution
• Manage IT procurement activities, including quotations, purchase orders, and vendor coordination
• Track project progress, timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Prepare project documentation, reports, and inventory records
• Liaise with users, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with government IT policies and procedures

Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Experience in IT project coordination, end-user computing support, or IT operations
• Hands-on knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting
• Familiarity with IT procurement processes and vendor management
• Good documentation, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills
• Ability to work in structured, compliance-driven environments
