Junior Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js)

We’re looking for a passionate Junior Full Stack Developer to join our client's team in the government sector, building high-impact digital products and developer tooling from the ground up. If you enjoy solving complex problems, shaping product direction, and creating tools that empower other teams to move faster, this role is for you!

Working hours: 8.30am-6pm (Mon-Thurs), 8.30am-5.30pm (Fri)
Working location: Central

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive frontend applications and high-performance backend APIs.
• Own end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend services, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build and manage scalable databases and data pipelines, including data transformation, cleansing, and storage layers.
• Implement modern frontend architectures with a strong focus on usability, performance, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to automate testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex full-stack, infrastructure, and security issues to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in full-stack development.
• Strong hands-on experience across full software development cycle, with solid knowledge of system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Proven experience with AWS/GCC cloud services, including database and data platforms such as SQL/PostgreSQL, S3, Athena, and related managed services.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerisation, and the ability to collaborate effectively with DevOps teams in Agile environments.
