Junior Desktop Support Officer

Employment Type: Contract (Renewable basis)
Mon – Thurs: 8:30am – 6:00pm, Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Location: Work-Near-Home (Site allocated based on area of residence)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for operational events and daily ICT requirements, including first-level troubleshooting of network and system issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure ICT provisioning, implementation, and operational readiness.
• Manage ICT inventory and assets, including deployment, stock-taking, disposal, and audit support.
• Administer user accounts, subscription services (mobile/fixed lines), and inventory management systems.
• Support budgeting activities, monitor ICT expenditure, and verify billing where required.
• Ensure compliance with agency SOPs and Whole-of-Government

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in IT or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in the IT industry is an added advantage
• Willing and able to respond to incidents outside of regular working hours when required.
