IT Operational Engineer

Job Responsibilities:     

• Perform maintenance on Data Center operations, including troubleshooting, and maintaining UCS servers, VMware environments, Windows Server 2022 and Linux RHEL 9.0 virtual machines, and Domain Controllers.
• Support management and monitoring of network, servers, virtualization and monitoring systems (including in-house Network Security Intrusion System) for new and existing park Attractions to ensure the seamless integration of network services to support overall system functionality.
• Manage common network services such as SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, and DHCP.
• Perform network performance monitoring, complex troubleshooting and provide detailed root cause analysis, for both hardware and software, and network issues.
• Conduct backup, archiving, and recovery procedures to safeguard critical data.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
• Understand and actively participate in Process Improvement exercises, Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established corporate policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technology and above with minimum 3  years of experiences with IT/OT networking systems in Data Center and virtualization technologies (UCS, VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN, vCenter, Windows Server, Linux Server. 
• Proficient in managing common network services (SNMP, Syslog, DNS, NTP, DHCP, AD).

• Strong understanding of wireless networking protocols, security protocols, and network architecture.

• Experience with Aruba Wireless Conductor and Wireless Controller and Access Points, Identity Service Engine, Palo Alto firewalls, Network Security Intrusion system and network monitoring and management tools.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform network performance analysis using tools like Wireshark.

• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, and maintaining network switches, firewalls and Servers.

• Proven ability to perform complex troubleshooting, backup, archiving, and recovery procedures
• Able to perform shift work include weekend and public holiday.
